La Bouteille d’Or

Despite being in such a touristy part of town (right across the river from Notre Dame), we found the prices for the set menu to be really reasonable. We sat outside with a perfect view of the cathedral. Our meals were excellent. I had the fried vegetable spring rolls followed by sirloin and potatoes. The meat was cooked perfectly. The food needed a little salt and pepper to bring out the flavor, but otherwise, all was great. The service was very good and almost everyone spoke English that we encountered.

The food here was absolutely stunning. We ordered a fantastic French onion soup, excellent escargot, stupendous stuffed eggplant, and such a savory steak. In all seriousness, it was incredible. All the food was prepared with perfection. The staff was very nice, the waiter was informed and kind. We had an amazing view of Notre Dame. And, frankly, the girl I was sitting here with was pretty amazing too. And, she liked it too. So, it must’ve been pretty good.
I just wish we had room for dessert. We will for sure recommend this to anybody we meet.

Man, what a great experience I had here. While I did feel a bit underdressed, the staff made me feel quite comfortable.
The meal started with delicious bread as I enjoyed my Lagavulin scotch.
Having never had it before, I had escargot as my appetizer and quite happy I did. While I’m no expert, I’d say it was excellent! Similar to clams, but not quite as sweet.
For my main course I had rack of lamb and was it cooked perfectly. Medium rare, juicy and tender. Magnifique!
I finished my meal with some ice cream. As with the other courses, delicious!
Highly recommend. Highly.

With ten points for the view as its neighbour is the Notre Dame this restaurant had great potential indeed… the food was OK not too special but we were with a large group so that was to be expected. I would go back when in Paris as dinner with a view followed by a stroll along the seine us serious romance material

Everything was delicious!
Came here for lunch and enjoyed the 3 course meal for 34 euros. It was spectacular. My friend had the 3 course meal for 29 and it was equally as good (if not better, honestly!).
The light cream sauce on the clams was to die for, especially good if you dip your bread in it; the champagne was the best I had in Paris, and our waitress was so sweet and nice.
The terrace is a very nice touch, especially when it’s so sunny and nice out. I got the duck breast and my friend got the duck confit – I’d say next time, go with the confit (which is actually cheaper!). It was much more flavorful, but that’s just what happens when you get legs vs. breast.
The desserts we ordered were the red berry crumble and the peach tart. LOVED the crumble. The peach tart had chocolate in it – kinda through us off but still very good.
We were not rushed at all and it ended up being around 100 euros for the whole lunch. Worth the splurge, if you ask me.

Walked to the front and had an o-​neck, sports shorts and croc shoes. This place had at least 6 tables open for my party of 4 and we approached the host. We were dressed casually but we’re very nice, and the host says there are no tables open as if we were blind. It is okay though, because if it were not for this man, we would not have found such a great place around the corner. Frankly I appreciate this guy. Ended up having great appetizers, dinner, cheese, and desert. I am glad he rejected us.

Beautiful, located just off the Left Bank. Simple décor inside, just across from the side of Notre Dome, so the views are pretty good! The wait staff was attentive and spoke fairly good English btu there weren’t many waiters! I did find that of all the things you REALLY need to be able to communicate about in Paris is ordering food. I ordered Tuna. And like some Americans I wanted it sushi level raw (rare). The waiter said «oh no problem it’s half cooked anyway» not really knowing what he meant was it’s «half» cooked through. So the fish was cooked to death (for me) and dry, but again, I think it was the language thing. All other elements of the mean were excellent so I’ll let them slide this time.

The view alone, while sitting on the patio, is worth the visit. Be sure to book a reservation (online is available) during busy times.
I had the pleasure of dining here with my husband this last April and seeing the Notre Dame during dinner was simply — breathtaking. Especially, since we dined at sunset, it was utterly romantic. The memories of us talking, laughing, and enjoying the city were worth the the pricier fare.
The service was just okay. Nothing to rave about, but not bad. Speaking English was not a problem, as they had someone on staff to help.
The food? Honestly, I can’t remember anything we ordered. Usually that means nothing stood out either way: good or bad. I had started with an apéritif (small drink to start, the only one I ordered in Paris) and it was truly disgusting. Silly me, for not asking more about it’s flavors.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and it was a perfect place to celebrate our romantic honeymoon.

We were staying at an apartment nearby and Unilocaled this truly wonderful restaurant. We were the only English speakers, a really good sign. I had the Waltz of Lentilles and Crevettes and the Sea Bass with carrot purée. My wife had the mushroom soup and the Ocean’s Purse. The food was as good as it gets and the restaurant is clearly the product of great pride and skill. A real sleeper!

Un bon rapport qualité/​prix avec la réduction La Fourchette, sinon un peu cher car les plats né sont pas «exceptionnels», mais quand même bons et de qualité.
Bonne localisation et service correct.

Bénéficiant d’une réduction LaFourchette, j’ai été agréablement surpris de l’accueil, absolument parfait et répondant à ma requête en ligne sur le site de LaFourchette de placement près d’une fenêtre.
Attablé devant Notre –Dame, le service fut parfait, avec des serveurs agréables et répondant aux moindres requêtes. Même si ce restaurant fait le plein de clients grâce à Groupon ou LaFourchette, le staff n’oublie pas le service et ce fut très appréciable. Jamais nous né nous sommes sentis des clients de moindre catégorie de par notre réduction. C’est très important de le signaler.
Concernant le repas, des plats simples mais d’une très grande finesse avec des ingrédients de qualités. J’ai beaucoup apprécié ce mélange de simplicité des plats et de recherché gustative subtile. Les prix d’ailleurs, même sans réductions, sont particulièrement attractifs, une réelle bonne surprise.
Les menus sont en français et en anglais, ce qui était parfait pour mon amie américaine qui n’as pas forcément un français courant.
Bref, pour un diner en amoureux, allez-​y les yeux fermés! et votre portefeuille aussi sera satisfait.

L’accueil était satisfaisant, mais le service un peu lent. La cuisine bien qu’acceptable n’était pas exceptionnelle.
Le cadre, vue sur Notre Dame est agréable

Restaurant assez chic qui a une super vue sur Notre-​Dame. Le cadre est donc très agréable, tout comme le service.
J’y suis allée avec la carte restopolitan, où le choix est assez limité (on a droit aux menus à 44 ou 49 euros). Les plats étaient très bon, mais comme déjà dit, pas vraiment original. Du coup on paye quand même pas mal pour le cadre, mais ça reste correct au vu de la qualité.
Donc plutôt un resto à faire en couple !

We had a reservation on a Friday night for 4 adults and 3 kids. They put us in a back room which I could perfectly understand. The food was delicious and the waiters did an excellent job — especially tolerating our crazy excited kids. Next time — no kids and front room with a view of Notre Dame.

Chic et bon
Effectivement dans un cadre très chic, qui plus est très bien situé en grande proximité de Notre Dame, les serveurs (très souriants, sympathiques et à l’écoute) vous proposent une carte complète aux goûts riches tout en étant diversifiées. Pour ma part, la nage de langoustine est bonne (manquant peut-​être d’assaisonnement), le confit de canard est effectivement très bien confit et la tartelette au chocolat est parfaite avec son petit jus d’orange qui fait la différence.

Nous y sommes allés un samedi soir pour essayer ce restaurant a deux pas notre dame avec Groupon. Nous n’avons pas été déçus. (Foie gras, St-​Jacques, aumônière de pomme) Le cadre est sympa et le service au top ! Je le recommande.

Des plats simples mais bon
Nous avons bien mangé, les quantités étaient correctes, mais il n’y avait pas de grande originalité dans les plats. Très bon service, et belle déco de salle.

Très bon restaurant à côté de Notre Dame
Accueil très sympathique, un an après, la personne qui nous a reçu, nous a reconnu. Cuisine raffinée, copieuse. Serveur et serveuse aux petits soins. Nous recommandons ce lieu.

We had a living social for this restaurant and requested a table with a view of Notre Dame. It was a very nice dining experience and the food was great! They were very resposive to e-​mails before the trip and very welcoming when we dined with them.

If you ever go to Paris, you must look up this restaurant and go ! And I will tell you why…
By an odd chance, I signed up for Paris Groupons, and found this brand new restaurant across from the Siene Riever and Notre Dame. What an amazing dinner and unforgettable experience!
I had emailed them prior to our trip to let them know it was a special ocassion, and not familiar with Paris, wanted to make sure we would be able to visit Notre Dame at the same time, being there for only 4 days. They assured us that we would have a window table with a nice view of Notre Dame.
They were so accomodating in their emails, and their English was good.
We were staying in a flat right by the Eifel Tower (15^th district), and decided to take a taxi. It was a nice 15 minute ride through the 5^th & 6^th district and was still light out at 7pm. It was my birthday, and being our last night in Paris, we still had not seen Notre Dame, which was a must see on our list.
Well, when our taxi dropped us off in front the restaurant, it was literally right across from Notre Dame and Siene River! I mean, it was right in our faces!
OMG, we were so estactic, we took pictures since it was still light, and all we could hope was the restaurant was just as beautiful.
We walked in, and it was what you would picture a beautiful French restaurant would look like. Glass chandeliers, wood front desk, white tiled floors and candles all around.
A beautiful Parisian lady greeted us in her French accent, we told her our names, took our coats, and introduced us to our French waiter who spoke no English, which made it even more authentic!
When he took us to our table for 4, it was in pink (my favorite color), Rose petals all over, and candles already lit! To top it off, my seat had a bird’s eye view of Notre Dame!
Groupons are always hit and miss, and you always seem to have mediocre service when you show them. Not so here, they treated us with professionalism and we had a 4 course meal for 4 and wine (300 Euros value) for 89 Euros a couple!
1^st course– A Cheese plate and glass of champagne
2^nd Course– Escargot, Frois Gras, salad,
3^rd– Leg of Lamb, veal, Filet Mignon, Mushroom Risotto (for our Vegetarian)
4t Course– Crème Brulee, Wine poached pear, Rasberry Tart, and a Chocolate soufflé for dessert!
One neat experience was my husband ordered a Coke, and they brought out a real bottle, and opened it up at the table, and poured it for him!
It will truly be one of the most memorable birthdays of my life, and ending the evening by walking around Notre Dame at night was the cherry on top!

Bön restau française
On est passé par Groupon pour essayer ce restau (entrée-​plat-​fromage-​dessert-​pain), Groupon qui l’a qualifié de gastronomique mais qui né l’est pas, c’est un restau typiquement français, sans aucune recherché particulière des plats mais cuisine fine et de qualité, très bon pain, également très bon accueil et restaurant très propre. Je dirais que c’était un peu comme la cuisine de maman. Bön moment passé à la Bouteille d’Or !

Un restaurant: Très bien
Très correct à tous niveaux, emplacement super avec vue sur Notre-​Dame, le petit cochon de lait super-​délectable, le service tolérant pour les tardifs. Demandez le voiturier du resto l’atelier de maître Albert.

Plats bons, mais après plus d’une heure d’attente pour l’entrée c’était le minimum !!!

Bön restaurant
Très bon restaurant. L’accueil est sympathique et le personnel professionnel. Le repas est de bonne qualité et les quantités sont suffisantes. Seul inconvenient la fraicheur regne près des fenêtres notamment table numéro 5. La carte des vins est intéressante et le rpix abordable vue le standing de ce restaurant. La vue sur Notre Dame donne un charme certain à cet établissement. Je le recommande sans aucun problème.

Superbe !
Une belle découverte ce beau restaurant au décor moderne, service efficace et souriant. Les plats sont de qualité (foie gras, brochette de gambas, ris de veau, profiteroles et poire rôtie). Belle vue sur Notre-​Dame et le quartier est fort agréable. A recommander chaudement !

Je recommande vivement
Resto très sympa, on a été très bien accueilli, les plats sont délicieux. Seul bémol, le serveur, qui pourtant était aimable et tout à fait satisfaisant, n’a pas arrêté de faire des «dérapages», comme quand on était petits avec les caddie du ton supermarché préféré. Il né levait jamais les pieds, ils les traînaient tout le temps. Bref, c’est pas grand chose, mon copain n’en avait rien à faire mais moi j’ai réussi à en faire une obsession. En entrée nous avons pris un brick de st marcellin/​miel pour monsieur, un velouté de potiron pour moi, rien à redire. Ensuite nous avons tout deux opté pour le magret de canard sauce pain d’épices: je n’ai pas trop accroché mais monsieur a adoré (c’est selon chacun) et en dessert crème brûlée pour moi et crêpes grand marnier/​orange pour lui, bon mais sans +. On n’a jamais attendu longtemps entre chaque plat et on n’a jamais du réclamer pain ou eau, le serveur (même s’il traînait des pieds…) a vraiment l’oeil sur tout. Situé tout près de Notre-​Dame, ce fut un bon repas dans un très joli cadre. Je recommande.

I went here for some dessert and a glass of wine. The restaurant is located just across the Seine River and the Notredame Church. You can’t beat the view at night. My friend’s cousin happens to work here and he speaks English, French and Filipino. Which is great if you have a language barrier.
I shared the most amazing crème brûlée and orange crêpe with my friend. Sharing two desserts was just enough for two people. Eating here at night was really night and relaxing.

Inattendu restaurant corse !
Un excellent et inattendu repaire de cuisine corse sur les quais, qui n’est en aucun cas un attrape-​touriste. J’aime bien ce restaurant en général et la cuisine est vraiment exceptionnelle ! A tester sans attendre pour les mets, la vue, l’ambiance et le service. N’hésitez pas à réserver pour éviter d’être déçu (surtout pour les tardifs).

Super resto ! Classe, très bon service et plats gastronomiques bref je né suis pas déçue d’y avoir manger… Je vous le conseille particulièrement durant les beaux jours car manger sous la véranda est particulièrement agréable. En + vue magnifique sur Notre-​Dame de Paris…

UN RESTO CORSE SYMPA
Avec la vue sur Notre Dame, une carte des vins superbe et des prix tous doux, cette table est vraiment un bon rapport qualité-​prix: 30 € le menu. Vraiment une bonne surprise à deux pas de la Tour d’Argent. Ceci étant dit, rien né vaut les plats que j’ai goûtés sur place en Corse!
