We choose La Petit Place for a relaxed and satisfying lunch after visiting the Picasso Museum. The dining area was warm and welcoming on a dreary, rainy day. The tables were full but the room was quiet. Our waiter made us feel welcome.

Located near the Picasso Museum, La Petit Place isn’t a bad place to grab a quick bite before heading there. They have a prix fixe meal for breakfast(see photo) which isn’t a bad deal. We ordered one set with a mini Chucuterie plate and it was pretty tasty. The only problem is service is a bit slow and they made a «mistake» on our bill. They tried to charge us an extra 4 euros on our single prix fixe meal. I caught the«error» and they did correct it, but who knows if it was an honest mistake or not. Anyways, the meal itself was solid so this place doesn’t deserve anything less than 3 stars.

I was in Paris for a week and this place had the best foie gras that I had the entire time, and we had it every day. There’s a chance that this is not the right place, by the way, but I bookmarked this and remembered it as the foie gras place, so I am writing this down and committing it to eternal Unilocal history. They had good music playing the day we came. Hip hop. American hip hop, in fact. Yep. That’s right. That’s what I consider good music for a place called Le Petit Place.

I grabbed the only table outside on a lovely afternoon. This place is tucked away in a quiet area of the Marais on the way to the Picasso Museum. I had smoked salmon on bread with crème fraîche with dill and a simple salad. It was very good and the service was friendly!

I love the place because of the location tucked away in a back neighborhood but also because it has great outdoor seating that is unique with little couches, ver comfortable and food and service is pleasant and great.

My wife and I happened upon this tiny(and aptly named) gem while wandering in the Marais. It was just after lunchtime on a lazy weekday and the café was nearly empty, so we were surprised that so much time passed before our food was ready. However, time seems sweetly irrelevant when one sits outside in one of these backstreet Parisian eateries. When our order arrived the wait proved more than worthwhile. Quite simply, I will never forget that duck tartine! I savored it and nursed it so lovingly that I think it took me longer to eat it than the time I’d waited for it! Unreservedly recommended.

We had some fun and great French dining experiences here during our stay in the La Marais. They have menus in english and we found ourselves returning to this closely located restaurant time and again. A very warm and friendly staff made us feel at home and the food was consistently delicious! Highly recommended. The ambiance of sitting outside on gentle evenings enjoying a great meal will leave lasting memories for our family.
