La Poste is awesome, for what it is. It is a thoroughly French institution that is working to keep its place in this rapidly modernizing world. Sometimes they can be really slow and a little archaic in terms of how the handle requests. But the counselors for their banking services are really trained to help you figure out how to proceed and they take the time to explain to you how to get your finances in order. I wish I could say as much for the more commercial banks in France. Then in terms of mail and package services, they do their best to help you out and are polite about it most of the time(if again a little slow). I do not know this particular branch very well because I only use the ATM — but it is nice to be sure to get two 10 euro bills when you withdraw 20 and not be forced(as many banks do) to take amounts in blocks of 20 euros or worse — 50 euros. A little piece of the socialist state that I argue is worth keeping around. :D
