I was definitely a fan of this place! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was great. I had the Gnocchi al Pesto, and honestly the pesto was the best I’ve ever had. They have a great selection of food on the menu, which is great because I’m a vegetarian. I absolutely loved this place. So much so that I went back again the day after I first tried it! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because my mom and I left too big of a tip the first night(dumb americans, you know) so the waiter went from nice to creepy the next night. He was just trying to be nice, I think, but saying my mom is his future wife gave me the heebeeejeebies. Other than that, fantastic little place! Not too touristy either. Most of the people in there were Parisens.

Reasonable pizza, service was lacking. One of us had time to leave the table, conclude a real estate deal, and come back, and the waiter still hadn’t come around. After 1 hour of waiting we were finally visited. No staff spoke any English, but an English menu was produced. At the time of paying the bill, it turned out that the prices there were severely outdated.

So so rude! My wife and I were looking to have a small bite, bottle of wine and desserts so we stopped at La Sirena Pizzaria. Like many busy Paris restaurants we had to wait for some time to be served, not a problem… that’s Paris. It looked like it was the owner that came over for our order and I started out trying explain that we wanted to share a Margherita pizza. Then what I thought was a language barrier turned out to be a «minimum pizza order» issue. I asked for«one», he said«one and one“‘, I said«one» motioning between us and he said«one» motioning to me then«one» motioning to my wife, I came back with«no, one merci». Then his voice became stern, he said something in French that I did not understand until he motioned to the door with a backhanded swipe and I clearly heard«au reviore»…I got the message. I never got taste the La Sirena pizza and La Sirena didn’t get my wine order, likely an expensive Brunello, Super Tuscan or Bordeaux. I guess it’s more important to La Sirena that they sell pies. Too bad.

This is a wonderful, friendly, delicious, and very reasonably priced Italian restaurant. We stumbled into it by accident, and adored the brick-oven pizza. The staff was sweet and spoke reasonably good English(very helpful as we do not speak reasonably good French), happily accommodated our requests to change ingredients on pizza, and generally made us feel very welcome. We returned a couple days later and it was just as good. If only we weren’t 6000 miles away now, I’d be going again immediately!
