Le Ballu

Petit bistrot de quartier bien sympa avec un accueil chaleureux et une petite terrasse sur la rue. Happy hour de 17h a 21h bien pratique pour des sorties entre amis.

Honesty? This is BAD bistrot food. My croque monsieur was no better than average, and the salads my friends ordered were full of oil and greasy ham. Also, the chocolates that go with the coffee are white because they have had them for too long. So… Obviously, you don’t go there for the food.
The thing is, you don’t come for service either. The waitress was not exactly rude, but not nice either. She made fun of one of my international friends because of his accent. She had no problem letting us stay for 2 hours on the terrace though — maybe because on a Monday for lunch, but it was nice anyway :)
