I don’t write many reviews on my phone. I usually just take pertinent notes and finish them on my computer at a later date, but this one needed to be posted immediately. For the most part when I’m traveling abroad we just jump into local spots before checking Unilocal just due to location. Well this time I totally should have checked first. This place is right next to the train station and a tourist trap. Yes they do speak English and the menu is in English and they take credit cards, but you’re better off anywhere else! We ordered the Croque Madame and the Spaghetti bolognese. The sandwich was meh and the spaghetti looked as though it was reheated. But what inspired the instant review is the garlic bread. After eating, I read the other reviews and noticed the tip don’t get the garlic bread. Too late! It’s 5.5 Euros for stale garlic bread. You don’t see the price ahead of time until the bill. You’ve got this dumb tourist, but hopefully you won’t get others!

5 stars on the service alone. our waiter was absolutely great. his service alone brought my party back daily. young tall slender gentlemen who’s name i cant recall. i can only speak for the meal i had which was a lasagna dish that i thought was great. the other gentlemen at the bar were also very friendly. every trip here was delightful!

Overpriced and waiters are trying to take advantage of you. If you do go in, don’t say yes to «Garlic bread»!

I went there with two friends from London and too bad for the cooks, it happens I am French and I know how a crêpe looks looks and tastes like. The one we were served was disgusting, unbelievably dry, so I asked the waiter to have a fresher one as this one was clearly not recent. The staff turned out to be really rude and reluctant to make a change, and the waiter made me stand up to talk to the cook(she could not even do it herself). After 5 minutes argue on their crêpe quality, they finally accepted to make a new one. Indeed, the cook is pre-preparing the crêpes and then just heat it! What a scam! The second one that came was way fresher, so that means they really fool tourists up for a shameful price(5 € for a Nutella one). When paying I said thank you to the waiter, and she replied that the first one was from today but the second one from yesterday. I said to her to stop lying to me cause I can’t be fooled up as most of tourists. In a nutshell, avoid this place as much as possible, rude staff, disgusting food, expensive prices.

A little crêpe shop open into the wee hours of the night. We happened to catch it in the morning on our walk to the metro. My sister ordered a Nutella crêpe and I ordered a caffe latte. The crêpe was 4 € and the latte was 4.50 €, one of the more outrageous coffee prices I’ve seen in Europe. However, we were 5 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower, so I can’t say I was surprised. The crêpe was big and so was the latte. The crêpe cook and the barista were very friendly and maybe a little racist but that’s ok, we’re not in America, I get it. Overpriced but delicious.
