Great pizza and lasagna, but a very diverse menu. Attentive service and quaint atmosphere. Near gere la l’est. Would definitely recommend.

If you’re ever in Paris and have a hankering for eating some delicious pizza, this is the place to go.
Within walking distance from Gare de L’Est, Le Bistrot Lorrain is a small and quaint restaurant that serves amazing pizza. All pizzas are made to order and baked in a wood fire oven. I highly recommend ordering any of the pizzas that have a sunny side egg as a topping. Or request them to add an egg to your pizza. There is nothing more heavenly than breaking a runny yolk over their yummy pizza.

A great locals spot with excellent service and excellent pizza. The house red wine is also quite good. Very near Gare de L’Est. Cozy and friendly.

A deux pas de la Gare de l’Est, située rue du 8 mai 1945 juste après le Monop, j’avoue n’y avoir jamais fait attention jusqu’alors, mais envie de pizza hier…
Pas mal pour dépanner un soir de semaine, les pizzas sont relativement goûtues et d’un bon rapport qualité-​prix (testée ici, la Rucola i.e. tomate, fromage, epaule, gorgonzola, salade roquette, copeaux de parmesan), sans pour autant être complétement renversantes, et tout de même un peu juste pour une grande faim.

Went for dinner on a Monday. Very reasonably priced, good food, good service. Our waiter was extremely nice and helpful, could speak English when needed.
Don’t go here for a fancy meal, but if you need a simple meal with a view of the hustle and bustle of a Paris street it’s a great place to go.

Ate here two night of our short break as it was a short walk from our hotel and very close to the metro station. The food was spot on for us, I’m personally a fussy English eater who eats Italian on a regular bases.
The pizza was out of a brick pizza over and was made to order with my friends Spaghetti Bol. The waiter was constantly on the go, remembering orders and opening doors when the customers left. The place is small and the tables are close together but the relay is quick, I counted 6 tables in and out while we ate our 2 course dinner.
They open 6−11pm for the evening stint plus as a great bonus they spoke English! Pizza, carbonara plus 2 drinks and 2 desserts came to € 43.30

Preis-​Leistung TOP. Pizzen aus dem Steinofen alles andere aus der sehr schmackhaften frisch zubereiteten Küche. Das Personal ist freundlich und auf zack. Extrawünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt. Es herrscht reger Betrieb und man stellt dabei fest, sehr viele Stammkunden! Spricht für sich selbst.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Direkt am Gare de L’est gelegen ist diese kleine Pizzeria ein Geheimtipp! Leckere Steinofenpizza zu absolut fairen Preisen.

I went to Le Bistrot Lorrain today for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and spoke English. I ordered the loaded Jambon pizza and it was excellent, fresh from the oven. The dough was chewy and well cooked. We tried pizza from Piccoli Cugini and the dough was crispy/​crunchier with less toppings for more money. Le Bistrot was a warm comfy place with free wifi. I did not try anything else as I ate alone today but if you are looking for great pizza in this area, stop by Le Bistrot.

We ate here our first night in Paris simply because it was so convenient to the Gare de l’Est (practically across the street). It actually turned out to be one of the tastiest places we ate at! Geared as a French-​Italian restaurant, my wife enjoyed her *French* onion soup with some *French* fries and a bottle of *French* wine, hahaha. I had a tasty, albeit slightly average, pizza.
The place was nearly empty when we we there, but that’s probably on account of us crazy Americans eating so early (before 7pm). It was still very good, and the service was pleasant and knew enough English to help us get by.
Interesting fact: the fries here tasted *nearly identical* to the best In-​N-​Out fries back home! I was shocked and amazed. Needless to say, they were some of the best in Paris.

I stopped in for a simple pizza lunch. The place does have a brick oven to cook the pizza, which was a plus, but the overall quality of the pizza was ⁶⁄₁₀. That said I wouldn’t have much hesitation to come back here for another quick bite. The service was quick and the food was inexpensive.

Très bonnes pizzas
A deux pas de la gare de l’Est, le Bistrot Lorrain n’a de lorrain que le nom: en effet, il vous propose pizzas au feu de bois et spécialités italiennes. Les pizzas sont très bonnes et à des prix très doux pour Paris. Vous pourrez voir le pizzaiolo en plein travail à côté de l’entrée: les pizzas peuvent aussi être emportées. Le cadre est peut être un peu vieillot mais il est largement compensé par la gentillesse du personnel de service.

Quelconque
Pas franchement mauvais mais vraiment pas de quoi se relever la nuit. Pizzas honnêtes sans plus (celle à la roquette est franchement chère pour ce qu’elle est), pâtes quelconques. Evitez comme la peste, en hiver, les tables en vitrine. Courants froids particulièrement agressifs.

Tres bonne pizza au feu de bois comme jaime la pâté fine excellent et la service bien aimable. L’ambiance super

Décevant
Bine que la serveuse était souriante, mais quels spaghettis ai-​je reçu? Flottant dans l’eau, sans goût, trop cuites. Le local est sympa et propre.

Aujourd’hui Parfaite
J’y vais depuis plus d’un an avec mon petit ami, le pizzaiolo est excellent, sans parler du personnel très chaleureux, souriant et agréable. Pour ce qui est du style, il était dépassé et l’espace dans le restaurant était très restreint. Je parle au passé car depuis quelques mois le restaurant était fermé pour cause de travaux. Je suis passé devant la nuit dernière en me baladant et j’ai eu une merveilleuse surprise. Elle est aujourd’hui splendide, a pris un nouveau soufflé avec une nouvelle disposition et un nouvel éclairage tamisé des plus charmant. Je né me peux pas m’empêcher de les féliciter. Ps: très bon emplacement, très bon personnel, très bonne cuisine, très beaux cadre, très abordable: c’est ce qui s’appelle du sans faute.
