Le Lotus Blanc

Très belle surprise au niveau de la qualité de la nourriture! Nous avons pris à l’emporter, donc nous né pouvons rien dire sur le service ou sur le restaurant, mais en tout cas notre commande était très bonne. En entrée, nous vous conseillons les ravioles frites maison! Un pure délice! Et ensuite nous nous sommes laissé tenté par un grand bo bun avec nems, également très bon! Un repas complet et excellent, à tester sans hésitation si vous habitez dans le coin ou que vous êtes de passage.

It’s been 4 – 5 years since I first ate at Le Lotus Blanc. I’ll be back in a few days and can’t wait. Phenomenal food, one of two of the top Vietnamese restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of eating at.
Update: It’s not the same. The phenomenal, mouth-​watering, gorgeous deliciousness is now just mediocre, unmemorable and disappointing. Fortunately, memories of dining here during my first time in Paris are undiluted, vivid, and dear.

We just came from the Hotel de Invalides military museum and were looking for a place to eat. We were lost wandering around and I thought when I saw Vietnamese on the sign, oh good cheap Phở in this nondescript place. Boy, was I wrong, bland and overpriced small portioned Vietnamese entrees. I will post photos. 2 appetizers and 3 entrees and had to order a small teeny order of sticky rice. Maybe we are spoiled because of Eden in the D.C. area in the USA, but lunch for 65 euros. No, thanks. We’ll stick with Subway sandwiches and I don’t even eat Subway at home!
Ex presidents have eaten here and a lot of politicos, which I saw in the photos. Why, oh why?

I was told that this place used to be The BOOM, but that wasn’t the case when I came here in late 2014.
I can see how the food would be great but they’ve lost their touch, or just got lazy.
Now I’m not saying there’s anything bad about the food but I just had such a high expectation coming in that I suffered a bigger let down.
This is a very small restaurant in a back alley of Paris. There’s only really one person working as the waiter (who is the owner, I suspect) most of the time, which makes sense since there’s such a tiny space.
The kitchen is downstairs, which you don’t get to see at all. You gotta pay attention to the dumb waiter that’s close to the cash register. When that thing dings, that’s when the waiter magically pulls out your food. Then when you’re done, dirty dishes go in that same dumb waiter and pouf, disappears.
The curry is great, I would highly recommend it.
I hope to return soon and have my mind blown.

Solid Asian food in this cute little joint right around the corner of the assemble nationale.
Lunch specials are good-​I liked the vermicelli soup and the caramel pork. People watching for French politicos-​if that’s your thing! Recommend

I loved the food here. While it is quite pricey, the garlic rice and duck tofu was amazing.
I will definitely return here if I am near the area.

Decent food, but it was quite pricey for Vietnamese (up to 17 euros for a small entrée) and the service was awful. The ambiance was ok — small and intimate — and it was located close to invalided and the Rodin museum, but unless you’re in that area, it’s probably not worth the trip.

Belle petite cantine vietnamienne. Malgré une certaine promiscuité on se sent bien dans ce petit restaurant. La spécialité de la maison: les vapeurs. délicieux !!! Les autres plats sont aussi très très bons. Les prix oscillent entre 8 a 15 euros.

Le lotus est un incontournable de la cuisine Vietnamienne à Paris. Depuis de nombreuse années, ce restaurant enchante mes papilles avec sa cuisine raffinée et parfumée. Ici, pas de carte à rallonge mais une selection bien pensé, des produits frais et beaucoup de saveurs ! Je le recommande chaudement !

Le lotus Blanc, c’est un tout petit restaurant Vietnamien à deux pas du musée Rodin. La cuisine est super bonne, j’ai été très agréablement surpris !
Plusieurs menus sont proposés midi et soir à la carte et il y également du choix à la carte. Tous ce que j’ai pu tester étaient savoureux et parfumé, comme ce très bon poulet au noix de cajou ou la rafraichissante salade de papaye verte !

Food is excellent– place is kitch — a well hidden secret «de ministre». Hasn’t changed in years — pictures of former stars and politicians on the walls.

Neither the food quality nor the decore warrant their over priced food (regular bowl of Phở for € 14) even in this area. For good Vietnamese, stick to the lower Latin Qtr area.

Le meilleur
Pour moi ce restaurant est le meilleur vietnamien de Paris. Pour une fois on echappe au decors kitsch des restaurants Asiatiques… Quant au repas c’est irreprochable.

Petit restaurant asiatique à la cuisine vietnamienne rafinée. Salle de plein pied ou mezzanine le restaurant reste un endroit assez confiné, offrant peu de couvert. La carte propose un grand choix de plats. Les prix sont très abordables. Sur les murs, des photos vous rapellerons le passage d’illustres personnages de l’Etat.

Excellent
Accueil souriant et attentif, nourrite excellente et orignale, ce restaurant est tout simplement parfait. Les plats sont copieux et rafines. Les murs de pierres recouverts de photos des celebrites ayant visité le lieu, les banquettes avec coussins rouges, le bar en bois en font un endroit agreable — «cosy», ou on se sent bien, si bien que ca donne envie de partir en voyage au vietnam et poursuivre la decouverte de ces saveurs.
