Le Madison

We stayed here for my sister’s 40^th bday the first week of November. From exploring all of the quintessential tourist attractions & their neighborhoods, I have concluded that St. Germain is absolutely the most PRIME location! It is not touristy and has all of the elements of a cozy, charming, quaint neighborhood in a big city– that is to say, you still have everything you could possibly desire from hole-​in-​the-​wall to tres chic, all in one convenient location (cafes, brasseries, boutiques, etc…). Some of the oldest/​famous cafes & restaurants are all right here: Café Bonaparte, Les Deux Magots, Le Relais l’Entrecôte (steak frites, yummy!). The banks of the Seine, The Louvre, Notre Dame are all walking distance and the L’Arche de Triomphe & Le Tour Eiffel are a short cab/​train ride away.
Another bonus is that we took the train in from Charles de Gaulle, which is quite easy, and got off at the St. Germain-​de-​Pres station. To our surprise, The Madison is right across the street!!!
The hotel itself is wonderful– not too big or small (9 floors), the décor is neo-​classic/​modern, smart, not industrial. Rooms are the perfect size, clean and comfortable. Front desk is courteous & helpful. The wi-​fi is free as are umbrellas at the entrance, which came in handy!
If you are in doubt or tired of shopping for the best hotel and Parisien experience, look no further. I highly recommend The Madison without hesitation!

Je réserve automatiquement une chambre pour mes parents dès qu’ils sont de passage à Paris! Le service y est très accueillant et les chambres superbes! L’hôtel est central, et les métro desservis né sont pas ceux de Raspail ou Port Royal mais Saint-​Germain des Prés sur la 4 et Mabillon sur la 10. Sans compte le nombre infini de lignes de bus qui passent à proximité!

Une des meilleures situations dans Paris, près des magasins, des restaus, des bars… et en plus, on n’entend pas le bruit dans les chambres donnant sur le boulevard ! Le petit déjeuner buffet est offert et est trés varié et trés bon. Les chambres sont superbement décorées. A l’accueil, les employés sont trés sympas et nous donnent des bons conseils sur les réservations de restaurant, spectacles…
