Great little boutique hotel in the shopping district close to the Madeline metro line. The room was super comfy and had A/C(now that is a rarity for Paris or Europe in general). The hotel is a very short walk to everything you need. There’s a Monoprix grocery store within 5 minutes and lots of shopping also 5 minutes away(I’m talking the best of the best of the best shopping). The room was a pretty good size and the bathroom was pretty awesome. No fridge in the room was probably the only downside but it’s not a turnoff. Would stay here again.

I travel to Paris 2 times a year for work and this time around I wanted to try out a new hotel. Our travel agent recommended Le Mathurin so two of my colleagues and I booked rooms here. I know people say that a 4 star hotel is really like a 3 star in Paris but the service here was bad. The prices here are also not cheap, I believe for the price I am paying the service should be somewhat decent. Not asking for much, just a courteous staff member that will answer questions and lend you a wine opener when needed. If you happen to come across a concierge who said his name is «Eric»(highly doubt it) just avoid him to save yourself from a headache. Overall though the hotel is not helpful. My boyfriend left his tie behind by accident and when we called the next day, they first told me to call back at 10pm and then again the next morning because they didn’t even try looking for it. We even emphasized how it was a gift and sentimental. In the end, they said it wasn’t there but let’s be honest, it was a nice tie and someone stole it. Wouldn’t be surprised if «Eric» is sitting at the front desk wearing it now. If you want a better idea of the hotel please refer to tripadvisor. Surprised everyone on Unilocal is giving them 5 stars…

The location of the hotel is just perfect: nearby Champs-Élysées, Galeries Lafayette, and so on. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room(superior room) had all the luxury one needs and one expects in this kind of hotel. The bookshelves and the overall interior design of the rooms, the halls, the bar/lounge and the other shared quarters create an unique cozy atmosphere which can only be found in the smaller highly rated hotels like this one. If one seeks for a quiet and peaceful overnight stay, here you are at the right address. The breakfast buffet was complete and very tasteful, simply said. The food-portions of the room service were rather small and a bit overpriced, but delightful. We went by car, and parked our car in the Vinci Madeleine carpark(5 minute walk). We didn’t use the spa facility in the hotel, because of the short 3-day visit in Paris. There are lots of activities and places to visit which makes every trip to Paris too short. We definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in an uppermost cozy and luxurious hotel nearby the eye-catchers of Paris. For young(but also older) couples, this hotel is the perfect setting for a romantic holiday in Paris, the city of love…

Le Mathurin was in the prime location, minutes of walk from Fauchon, House of Truffles, House of Miel and the entire shopping district with huge malls like Printemps and Gallery Lafayette. A boutique hotel that was the ultimate luxury from the entrance to the room. We were very enchanted by the photos of the hotel the rate was 250 Euro you might say it was high but in that location it was probably very reasonable. Our room was on the 6th floor it was not a big room but it was so beautifully decorated. The very high-end fabrics and textures alone were enough to blow you away. Nice thick luscious pair of robes and slippers awaited us on the bed. I loved the sheets and the bed it was very comfortable needless to say I had a great night of sleep. In the clean medium size bathroom, there was L’occitane toiletries which smelled fantastic! TV channels were also great. I also enjoyed checking out the lounge spaces at the lobby. It was really worth it!

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights total and the room was immaculate. The two most important things for me are a clean bathroom and clean bed, and no problems with either. The staff were friendly and handled our requests right away. It’s also a great location.
