A tester !

It’s in a cool location, on a narrow street full of restaurants and boutiques. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. We had galettes with cider(traditional) and were satisfied with the food quality and service. If you don’t want to look around too much for a place to eat while you’re touring the city you’ll be happy here.

It was just ok. One thing I liked about this restaurant is after going broke everywhere else in Paris this place seemed to have reasonable prices. However, the food was just ok L’onion soup — was very sweet instead of savory like I was hoping for on a cold rainy day Crème brûlée was just ok. I’ve had better

We were on the hunt for mussels/frites and this place popped up. The meal hit the spot and we enjoyed it, but the mussels were quite small and frites nothing special. There were the usual tables out front with smokers galore, so when we entered to get out of the smoke, we found the inside pretty bad too since door was open. Thankfully one of the hosts offered(in English) to let us sit upstairs, which we did — all alone — and enjoyed our feast! Very nice of him to do that. The salad we ordered was pretty average too, but enjoyable with an egg over green beans and lettuce and surrounded by fried potatoes.

I have been visiting Le Moliere for breakfast for several years on trips to Paris. It is on a street full of crêpe(and other) bistros. In my opinion, it is the best of them for value and for food quality. The«brunch» special at 12.50 Euros is a great bargain and includes a huge, fresh and buttery croissant(baked right next door at the Smith’s Bakery, which seems to be under common management) and a galette complete, which is delicious. My granddaughter had a croque madame, which was huge and on a piece of very fresh bread, with a side salad. She pronounced it yummy. I should add as a bit of neighborhood advice that Le Moliere far outperforms the horrible«Paul» bakery across the street in all respects.

Great little crêpe place in the heart of Paris. Our server was attentive and very friendly, and super accommodating for my food allergies. I got a gluten-free buckwheat galette with ham, egg and cheese and it kept me full for hours! My husband got a croque madame and loved his dish too. If you are looking for a quick bite while you are in Paris, be sure to check this place out.

We loved it here! We enjoyed their service and they gave a lot of food to the point where we had to asked for a doggy bag on the breads which came in handy on those long walks in Paris. We were originally suppose to go to Paul which is across the street but after we saw the price for a pastry, my husband said«no». But, I’m glad he did because we would have never found this gem. The food was delicious! I got the la bleu crêpe and my husband had the ham crêpe. Both were good and we walked out with a smile.

Great service, really friendly. Tried the typical tourist food Snails for entrée, which were delicious by the way(garlic, butter and parsley)! With Moules A la Crème and Moules Marinaire for mains, servings were big and mussels were ok, flavours could have better but on the whole. Very good.

For food, I would rate this place 3, but because the great wine prices, giving it 4 stars. Ate here twice and had 2 bottles of wine the first time(25 eur for Mouton Cadet) and ordered cured meat(menu had as «cooked» meat) and mussels. Very nice portion size, so very happy. The first night, the waiter was very friendly and even brought more basket of baguette for us to enjoy with our 2nd bottle of wine. The second time, went for lunch and another bottle of wine. Had steak des boeuf with egg and found myself staring, instead of a steak, but hamburger meat. Probably was my fault. The meat had no real flavor. But, the egg was amazing and fresh.

Lovely attentive staff, great ambiance(sitting outside in a very vibrant cute avenue ;) and delicious reasonable food. I had mussels(they gave me a huge pot full of mussels) and French fries. The mussels were amazingly well seasoned and super fresh! The fries were typical French and were quite yummy. All in all I paid for my meal: 12.90 €. Pricey but that’s Paris :) Tip: Definitely try the mussels!

I have to agree with other reviewers, do not get pasta here. My wife got the penne carbenara and it was really bland, but she did enjoy her crème brule. I got a crêpe with potatoes, sausage, onions and a white sauce and it was pretty good. The crêpe was a little over cooked but overall it was good. Stick to crepes here, the pasta is a bust.

Don’t eat pasta here. Craving for something other than duck and mussels in Paris I saw penne on the menu and dashed in. While our waiter was super nice the food he recommended did not measure up. The penne with tomato and basil sauce was probably the single most horrible meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was penne with the blendest smallest quantity of some mushed tomatos. I had to dump 2 packets of salt on it to eat like 5 pieces. The prego sauce from target would taste 100x better. WTF?! On a Sunday afternoon the place is packed with drinkers and smokers and their cheese platters looks decent but let me repeat –don’t get their pasta.

The wife wanted to try crepes for breakfast so we found this place and decided to try it(after our first three choices indicated by Unilocal were closed on a Friday!). it turned out well although service was spotty. We started with smoked salmon on toast and it was excellent, a great start to the meal. I got La Bleu crêpe – tons of cheese, blue cheese, some ham, and a few cherry tomatoes. It was rather heavy from all the cheese but the flavors came together and I was absolutely stuffed. The wife got the«complete» which came with everything and a barely cooked egg on top for flavor. She liked it a lot, and we definitely got our fill of crepes. My only complaints are twofold. First, 9.10 Euro for a pint of 1664 beer? Really? Second, service was questionable. We noted that at least 3 – 4 tables that were seated after us got their food before us while we sat there quite a long time. Can’t really explain why because crepes do not take that long to make. The place was not cheap. It came to almost 50 Euro for breakfast, which is close to $ 70USD. Overall, though, it was a good experience and the wife was happy with her crepes.

Nice little bistro in the heart of St Germain. The problem was that it was very crowded and the service was slow. Perhaps because of the holiday crowds they were a bit overwhelmed. The crepes were good, not great, but in Paris it is fair to expect more.

We keep passing by this cluster of cafes and last night came by for dinner. It looks like there are two cafes with a few shops in between but there are actually FOUR cafes. Make sure that you sit in front of the one you wish to eat at. We meant to be eating at the one next to this one, but sat one table over too far. Anyways… typical menu. My daughter enjoyed her Croque Madame. Great people watching. Smoking as usual. So if you don’t like it, sit inside and miss the lively scene outside. I always think that I won’t mind the smoke but then get back to the hotel and my hair smells disgusting!
