And they say the Frecnh are quiet diners?! Well, this place was buzzing w loud conversation and chill back ground music. The service was excellent. I find if you just sit back and watch the French do their thing, uninterrupted w our American impatience, your dining experience will be fabulous from beginning to end. And it was just so here at Le Petit Lutetia. Candles, nice linens, beautiful place settings. The interior is cozy and charming. Of course they served petite bottles of delicious Sancerre. The Burratta w plum tomatoes, olive oil and fresh basil was the very best I’ve ever had. It was light and rich and creamy all at once! I wasn’t so pleased w my overly blanched whole artichoke w the too Dijon mustard Hollandaise. However, the Sole Meuiére was a marvel. Filleted table side and represented in all its buttery lemony golden splendor. It was amazing. The Duck Confit served from black Staub vessels along w crunchy sliced golden potatoes rounded it out for perfection. I was disappointed as dessert menu was limited and no soufflé was offered. The service here is warm and gracious. Although I declined, they did offer an English menu. A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like writing one after dining here tonight~ My friend and I had a great diner before leaving Paris. The restaurant is nicely decorated, food is very good, and the staffs are just lovely! I had the artichoke and beef fillet and my friend had the fois gras and duck confit, totally satisfied and no complains! And they serve delicious cookies with coffee. Strongly recommend and would definitely come back. :)

What an amazing place! Even when compared with our native San Francisco, the duck confit was simply fabulous with no equals back home(and we’ve tried many). You can have this with either mashed or crispy potatoes(both are terrific) but instead they included a large serving of butter lettuce which hit the spot for me! Prices are reasonable and you’ll find yourself coming back for more(we certainly did!)

Wonderful local bistro. Friendly waitstaff and delicious food. So good we ate there twice during our 4 day stay in Paris. The tuna tartar, risotto and duck confit are especially good.

The place is the same after 10+ years. Minus the cigarette smoke. We love it here. Feels like Paris. We were shopping at Bön Marche on our first visit to Paris. It was dinner time. Didn’t know where to go?! Stopped a local at the Marche and he recommended this place. Did not disappoint. Found our way back after 12 years. Waitress is great. Quiet Monday night. Great relaxing dinner before we have to go home. :)

Local establishment with mostly locals but with an English menu. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Le Bön Marche is just a few blocks away so it is easy to shop the afternoon there then walk over to Le Petit Lutetia for dinner. Food is good and at a decent price. Wine is also decently priced. Couples — walk over and ask for a table in the back for some privacy with dinner by candlelight. Still remember the first time I came over 10 years ago and it still feels the same… not something you can say of too many things these days. Two thumbs up! #livehard

Lovely little restaurant on rue de Sevres. We had our final meal in Paris here, and it was just delicious. Our French is limited but the host and waitress were kind and helpful. We ordered from both the regular menu and the rotating daily menu, and loved everything. My fiancée had the steak au poivre, which came with an amazing potato side dish, and I had the daily special of country sausage with lentils — hearty and delicious. I think this place is everything that is great about French food.

A(quite expensive) brasserie, neighbourhood-type establishment. The snails and the steaks are very good. Simple and filling oven-baked potato sides. The maitre’d is friendly and very professional, but one of the staff members has a deliberately surly attitude, which makes service hit-and-miss.

I was very pleased with this restaurant. I love a place where the bulk of the menu changes daily to accommodate for fresh ingredients. To start, I chose the mussels. Honestly, to start, I chose a glass of wine, followed by the mussels. Both were delicious. For the main course, I went with the sole and potato dish that was on the daily menu. And of course another glass of wine. I was a little concerned that the meal wouldn’t be exciting enough for my palette. I mean, just fish and potatoes? Shouldn’t there be a veggie on the plate? Where’s the color? Thankfully, my concerns were squashed. The dish was amazing. Not quite«lick the plate» good, but definitely, «I am going to eat all this even though I was full 7 bites ago» good. To finish the meal(There is no need for you to point out that I was full. I am aware of my gluttonous appetite.), I chose the pear tart served with crème. Also from the daily menu. It did not disappoint. I will definitely return here on my next trip to Paris.

Traveling in Paris with our family and had a great dinner last night. Sunday night so not a lot was open and we stumbled upon this place. Had a great table on the sidewalk and the maitre d was very nice. Everybody spoke a little English which was great because my French is way bad. Traveling with two kids and they were more than happy to split portions for them. Awesome steak tar-tar! And the wines were incredible. Dinner for four with desert was a bit pricey, but hey… how many times you gonna be in Paris?

My wife’s parents really like this restaurant, which is a good place to go for some fine dining. Coming here with them, we enjoyed a great meal — very good service and good eats. I got one of the specials of the day: steak with a mustard sauce, plus potatoes. Hold on — did James really eat cow? Yup. Being on vacation in Paris is one of those rare times I’ll eat beef. I’m a sucker for mustard and it was good, but I think I would have been happier with my wife’s steak with pepper sauce(she also agreed that her black papper steak was tastier). Overall, our party was quite pleased with the food, the wine and the service. We were disappointed that one of the dessert offerings was out of stock — perhaps the table next to us got the last one. Dessert was delicious but not spectacular. The place was a little cramped — the maitre’d had to move our table out of the way to allow half our party of six to sit down, then sealed them in with the table, but perhaps they don’t have much space for larger parties. For a neighborhood brasserie, this place impresses — 4.5 stars!
