Le Petit Picard, c’est fini. Un restaurant Japonais (de plus) à pris sa place il y a quelques semaines.

Une excellente cantine
Certes, on est un peu serré, le service est hyper-​rapide et il né faut pas compter s’attarder toute la soirée, mais le rapport qualité-​prix est imbattable. Des recettes bien françaises, et une ambiance chaleureuse. De nombreux étrangers aiment à venir pour le style nappe à carreau. Un bon restaurant pas cher, espèce, hélas en voie de disparition.

I tried this restaurant for the second time recently. The first time we went with a group of friends and had a great time. This time, we were just two and I wanted to see the difference the situation would present. I was not disappointed.
The restaurant is centrally located in the Marais – on the rue– Sainte-​Croix-​de-​la-​Bretonnerie, just off the rue des Archives. It is small, but bright and cheerfully furnished in a contemporary décor.
The prices are terrific for the fare received. The French food is created in original yet classic ways – usually with a twist. Good portions and nice prix fixe choices. I loved it all.
The complaint I most hear from the locals is that service is hurried at the meals end-​to make way for new guests. I imagine that this is not a problem for Americans who are used to this practice at home-​and are not prone to linger on
Try this place for a satisfying, pleasantly economical and delicious meal.
