Don’t be fooled by the charming lobby – the rooms are tired and uninspired. My room has chipped paint, torn wallpaper and worn rugs and a stained bed cover. The wifi does not work well (or at all) and the night staff is not super helpful. The plusses are the location and the beds (very comfortable). I will not be returning here. There are too many truly charming hotels in the area to make this mistake again.
