Great shop. So many unique items. The owner was so friendly and very kind. Had a great time. We had some coffee and made a few purchases. The owner even recommended some fantastic restaurants to us. We went and ate a DELICIOUS dinner at Bouvette right up the road– which he had recommended. Was our favorite dinner while in Paris. We bought two great dot coffee mugs by Camilla E.

Had an awesome conversation with the owner about the world, life, France, and more. Over a great Pour Over with beans from Coutume. Wish I had room in my suitcase to buy some of this amazing bits and bobs as well!

Great great great! I stopped by today after reading some positive reviews on some blogs and was very happy that I did! I had a quality macchiato(something that is surprisingly difficult to come by in this city) and even better customer service! I recommend this little shop wholeheartedly.

This is really a little gem of a shop! For one, the owner is a genuine sweet heart, passionate about all of the items he sells. Two, all of the items that he sells are genuinely passion provoking. Three, it’s a hybrid shop with a mini café where the owner prepares fabulous Coutume Coffee on the spot so you’ve got the scent of rich, freshly brewed coffee wafting throughout the space while you shop. I love original items for the home that are beautiful, affordable, and tell a story. And this place carries all of the above. The owner sources designs made by friends or acquaintances in the neighborhood, like dolls made from recycled French linen by a woman a few blocks away, silkscreen prints made by a family member, etc. Every item seems to have not only a story but a soul. I cracked for some simple, retro-looking hand towels by a indie brand called Fog Linen that the owner swore by. At 11E a pop, I was willing to give them a chance. And boy was he right. They’re the most absorbent towels ever, and never look ratty like most hand towels do after mega action with a toddler in the house…

Rha j’adore. For free. A voir.
