Loved this café, definitely one of the best I went to. I went there 3 times in one week. Great selection of casual dishes that are all delicious. The servers are very friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Went to this place last night for dinner and it’s such a lovely place! The food was wonderful, staff were so charming! It’s just outside the city centre and is such a hidden gem! Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to take photos of the place as it was crowded but if ever in doubt and visiting Paris it’s a must go to!

In my 4+ months in Paris, I eat here more than any place else. Partially because it is close to my apartment and because I always have a great experience. When my mom visited we even had breakfast there almost ever morning. One of the waiters even remembered us. Absolutely outstanding service no matter when you go. The food is really good and it’s a wonderful location to watch people on île Saint Louis. Highly recommended.

Great service, the food was delicious!!! We loved this place, we had the duck, a steak, a croque monseuir and some pasta, it was all so simple and so good, I am pretty sure anything we would have ordered would have been great.

Prime location, great service, mod-vintage décor. We were seated immediately, and all of the staff we encountered were laid back and delightful. Mimosas were delicious(albeit moderately overpriced, even for Paris), salads(goat cheese and mandarin, I think?) were light yet decadent, and the cheese plate was massive. My friend’s fried eggs were also wonderful, so I’m told. Would definitely return.

Top.

What a delight! You would think that with a restaurant on every corner you wouldn’t stumble upon something so special, but this place really was fantastic from start to finish. Delicious, gorgeous interior and some of the best service and most accommodating staff I’ve dealt with in the longest time. And the drinks are great! So worth the visit!

First breakfast in Paris and it was a good one. Found this place on Unilocal and it was pretty close to where we were staying. Arrived and had to wait about 30 mins before we got seated. This place is packed. I guess you can say the same to all the good places in Paris. I ordered the eggs benedict and the beau ordered the omelet. This was the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. The hollandise sauce was amazingly delicious. The omelet was also good too, but I prefer the eggs benedict. The amount of food they provide was good for breakfast. Definitely give this a try if you are in Paris. Worth the wait!

I’m going often to this restaurant it’s the first time the service was so bad and the food as well. we ordered two salads and both were not fresh and were tasting bad. They brought us a bottle of Evian(8 euros) already open and it was tasting like tap water. I’m very disappointed and I’ll not go back there. :(

Had breakfast there. Omelettes were good, eggs Norwegine was pretty good. The accompanying salad was yummy. The best was their chocolate croissant. Wow best croissant I’ve had in Paris! Our waiter was this awesome older gentlemen. He was funny, quirky, super friendly, and efficient. Definitely going back for more croissants at least. Heard their French onion soup is awesome so will go back and try it.

A cross from Notre Dame this is a perfect spot for lunch. Be warned that you may have a bit of a wait. So if your in a rush this might not be the place to rush on into. The food is great, wonderful sandwiches and crepes. The service staff is way too fun. This is a busy place and I only counted three servers(one of them a host) on the floor. That being said they know how to work the room expertly. Each of them with a distinctive personality. Laughing and joking with each other as well as the guests. We waited 30 – 40 minutes for a table and they made it fee as though only a few minutes flew by. In a city that gets a bad rap for being rude just venture on in and enjoy the hospitality!

Delicious breakfast with friendly servers. Not too many options & a bit pricey, but the restaurant is located on a quiet corner in a beautiful neighborhood so the price was worth it. I’d definitely go back!

My mum, cousin and I stopped here for dinner last week and it was one of the best meals we had all week. The funny thing is, a friend had recommended the café to me but couldn’t exactly tell me where it was(like street name) so we wandered around Notre-Dame and came to this café and it looked so adorable we decided to just stop there for dinner. Turns out it was Café Regis! I speak(some) French(is ‘speaking French food’ considered a foreign language?) and they were very kind and spoke English and French so we spoke in this Franglish most of the night with our waitress, it was quite fun. The ambiance was charming: the lights were dim, black and white tile, subway tile on the walls, and we sat at a table in the window with opened doors. There was light music in the background, we even heard a little bit of Michael Bublé which we thought was funny. The food was delicious! Bread to start was warm and cut fresh right beside us, with an olive oil dipping sauce. But don’t fill up on the bread because the food is delicious. My mum had their French Onion soup and it was hands down the best we tasted in Paris. My cousin had the caprese salad which was fresh and delicious. I opted for more protein and went with a burger and I think it was the best and LARGEST burger I’ve ever had in my life. It was incredible! Then for dessert(because when in Paris…) we shared the crème brulee and a chocolate molten cake. I can’t tell you which was my favorite because they were both absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Café Regis. Great experience. Great food. Totally worth every delicious calorie!

At the tip of the Saint Louis island, you find this tourist trap. If you’re up for some quick food and don’t have patients to walk to other places, this is a decent choice. The place itself looks really great and it’s a fine place to sit for a coffee, but it’s the food that drags the impression down. Since we where in France, it was necessary to have a french onion soup. I’ve tried this before from a french chef, so I’ve a fair opinion about the how the taste should be like. The soup I was served was drowned in cheese, and the onions had almost no taste. It all tasted cheese. Don’t misunderstand, if you’ve never tried onion soup, it will taste good, but it didn’t taste like it should be. The staff was stressing around and didn’t give me the best impression of service, and it was only nodding, «oui» and dull facial expressions. Like I wrote earlier, if you’re in a rush it’s a OK place, but when visiting Paris you should walk the ekstra meters to a better place to eat.

I love the ambiance and placement of this cute retro bar near all the action on ile st louis. The food is good and priced well. They used to give us our wine in a proper glass as I always order the organic saumur champigny. This time a tiny glass arrived for the usual price which is a quick way to get me to not return. A big problem with Parisian places that encounter a lot of tourists(which I am not) is they tend to skimp on things if they feel you are not a regular. Not sure I will be back. There are many other places with great people watching that will give me a proper wine glass when I order a nice glass of wine and without the snooty attitude.

We ate here on our first night in Paris with the in-laws. Food was solid but nothing spectacular. Our meal was pretty standard with one exception, the chicken liver salad. Both me and my mother in law ordered this. I was shocked she did as she is not the most adventurous eater, but it was really well done and we both not only enjoyed it, but bonded over it. Overall, in the tourist trap that is the Ile-St-Louis, this place could be getting away with much worst food and not feel any decrease in business. When we went the food all seemed fresh and nothing tasted as if it had come from a package and was simply reheated in the kitchen. For that, I commend and recommend them.

I give Le Saint Regis 5 stars because of the whole experience. My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant last spring while we were living in Paris. The small outside sitting area can’t be beat, a great place to people watch or just watch the day go by. The food is great and the drinks are even better! Stop in for happy hour where cocktails are half price(great deal), the Mojito in Love can’t be beat. With all of the places in Paris I can still say I would come back here again and again.

We came very late after a concert somwhere 11PM. We just wanted having something to light and hot so took some crepes with theas. The crepes came very fast, maybe less than 5 minutes. It is unrealistic to prepare crepes that fast. After tasting it we new that it was reheated stuff. For that quality it’s kinda expensive. But the personnel was very kind, the waiter even went to open the door respectfully for us when he saw we were to leave and said au revoir to us.
