Très bonne table face à Notre dame ! Cuisine travaillée, belle présentation, service prévenant … une bonne adresse !

Delicious food, good portions, and the sweetest staff! They had an English menu which was very helpful and she explained anything we still questioned. Right near Notre Dame.

Very good, the starter soup has too much cream inside, the main dish duck fillet with fois gras sauce was just amazingly delicious! Staffs are so friendly and helpful, will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I are traveling through Paris and on our last night we stumbled upon an American friendly and reasonably priced restaurant. We don’t really go for desserts so there was a two course option for 30 euros. I ordered the escargot(which had huge snails ! And a special munk fish with couscous. My boyfriend had a delicious ribeye special. Everything was so hot, fresh and flavorful!!!

Me and my Roomate loved this!!! The food was rich and delicious! I got the duck breast and lava cake which was great! Everything is fresh and even though it gets crowded it’s a very cute place that I would suggest trying while by notre dame

On our two week trip to London, Lisbon and Paris I’d had beef only twice and this our last evening I thought to try a steak frite once again. We searched Unilocal and checked out 10 different restaurants and ended here. It wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t special. It was a prix fixe with flexibility on the courses so we ended up spending about 30 Euros each, a bit more than we had been spending for dinner. We sat outside and enjoyed the motorcycle traffic on Quai de Montebello and realized we were paying for the location, not the food.

Overall excellent experience. Visited with 4 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 6. The menu offered a great variety of Authentic French cuisine which were all perfectly and professionally prepared and were very tasty. The location was very convenient to the Notre Dame cathedral and the ambiance was excellent. The waitstaff were super nice and very attentive even when it got very busy. The price was totally reasonable for Paris. Highly recommended.

Honestly I’m tempted to give this place five stars. It was THAT good! I came with two friends and we were looking for a good French meal for an affordable price that wasn’t a tourist trap… and this was the place. We came at lunch time but were also able to order off the dinner menu. There was only one man serving the front of the house and it filled up by noon. Yet, surprisingly service was great. He was attentive and always accommodating. This was a great find and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Amazing dinner with starters and red wine. The service here was very friendly and excellent. My husband and I spent a lovely evening here ordering the starter, main course and dessert deal for 36 euros and it was completely worth it! The staff recommended a delicious Bordeaux to compliment out meal of roasted duck, beef fillet, and salted caramel trifle. It is just the cozy atmosphere we were looking for and it did not disappoint. If you find yourself taking a walk through Paris, please make sure you make this your dinner spot at least once. It’s a little off the path from the Notre Dame cathedral but they were truly welcoming.

Are first choice had a 20 minute wait. We found this on Unilocal, and we could not have been happier. The food and service were outstanding. Our waiter even took the time to explain each dish even though we didn’t ask(although as we don’t speak French, we were very grateful). Make sure you stop here for a wonderful experience.

We found this amazing brasserie on Unilocal during the first week of our stay. We enjoyed the food, service and ambiance so much that we returned again today. Antoine was our server on both occasions. He is a delight. High energy and very personable. His English is excellent, which was helpful due to our limited ability to speak French. Both times I had barratta cheese appetizer. It was so good the first time that I had to have it again. I had salmon and chicken skewers as main. Both delicious. In terms of cost– the price fixe starter and main was 15 – 19 euro. Seriously?! We have one more day in Paris. I wouldn’t be surprised if we return tomorrow. For sure we will be back next year – more than once.

This place was absolutely amazing. We came in on a Fri night without reservations around 745pm and got seared immediately. The pricing is fair for the area, about 35 Euro for starter, main course and dessert, but there are lesser options. We had the ravioli appetizer, all homemade, insane. Next moved onto the ribeye, cooked perfectly and the pasta with scallops which was fantastic. Had a great bottle of Bordeaux to go with the meal. Topped it all of with crème brûlée and chocolate lava cake for dessert with 2 glasses of dessert wine. It was all insane! Best meal of the trip. All of this was 130 Euro and we were there for 2 hours easily. They even threw in a few tasting liquors. Great friendly staff, spoke English for those worried about that, and were so funny! We had a great time and will be back!

Lovely French restaurant. The first proper French meal that my husband and I had. Food was delish — French onion soup, beef cheek, steak and fries, profiteroles, and Apple pastry. Wow! All the food was excellent. Wine was ordered/paired at waiter suggestion. Waiter was charming and totally English friendly. The only negative was we had no reservation so sat outside in covered heated area with smokers. Lovely view of notre dame. Affordable pricing. Overall a great evening.

We checked Trip Advisor and found this location not too far from us. What a great evening! We celebrated our 30th anniversary with our friends! We were walking in the rain to get there and we were not disappointed! The experience was fabulous from the starters through the dessert! The staff was great and attentive to our night’s event! A small quant location right across from Norte Dame! We will be back! ;-) Looking forward to the next visit.

LOVE this place. Yes, I am giving it 5 stars. Yes I also gave Le Restaurant(Michelin rated) 5 stars too. But they are in 2 different genres of restaurant. This place was one(of 2) of the cosiest bistro restaurants we went to last week. The staff is young & energetic, bilingual & have a sense of humor. The steak frites here are pheno & the salmon tartar was fantastic. The price is reasonable & the atmosphere begs for you to hang out for that extra glass of wine. But they make great cocktails too! So when you get ‘wined out’ while in Paris, this place makes some tasty concoctions. If you are anywhere near Ile e Cite/Notre Dame, stop in. Its easy walking distance, just across the bridge closest to Ile Saint Louis. Enjoy!

We’ve already checked in here on FB so sorry if this is posted twice. If you are anywhere NEAR Notre Dame you should work your schedule around finishing your day at this place. As I remember it, dinner starts at 7pm. When we arrived at 7:15 we were the first there, and I was starting to think maybe the other reviews I had read were wrong… maybe this wasn’t the 17th most highly reviewed restaurant in Paris! Snce it was only a 15 minute walk from our apartment it was worth a try. Well, it would have been worth a 30 minute walk! Maybe 45! An hour? Let’s not get crazy. We all enjoyed every single thing we ordered. EVERY. SINGLE. THING. The bartender asked if he could recommend cocktails for the ladies and gentlemen. We took his advice and enjoyed cucumber champagne cocktails(not on the menu, which is in both french and english-also on their website-check it out), a black mojito, Irish coffee made with Jamesons, and a Caipirinha. We ordered the entrée/plate/dessert for 33 € which is a steal for the presentation and taste you are served here! Entrees? Shrimps, mango & avocado salsa, Basil raviolis gratinéed with cheese, Six escargot, served in a cassolette with garlic butter. All exquisite and delicious and scrumptious. One person had the foie gras and crème brûlée(odd combination!), which he didn’t enjoy that much, but didn’t complain about either. The main plates were lamb in a delicious stew, Roasted duckling filet with mashed potatoes, catch of the day whcih was Cod. Again, each of these were shared around the table with phrases like«You’ve got to try this!». Desserts were lava cake, apple pastry, cheesecake with oreo crust(french style!) and a cheese with jam and bread plate. Couldn’t have enjoyed this meal any more than we did. Really. We will be back here again. Both the service and the food were the best we’ve had in Paris.

Day 6 — Wednesday Meal: dinner Table for 6, half business — half fun. 4 of us were travelers, 2 were locals. We came across reviews on TripAdvisor and it was only around the corner from our hotel and our meet-up location(the Long Hop) with friends. We were able to make reservations online(probably did not need to this evening although other reviews recommended reservations, but with a large party it was helpful) through the French version of OpenTable for 9pm. This little place is across from the Seine in the 5th Arrondissement — just before(or after depending where you are coming from) the more touristique places begin their assault. The inside is simple and dimly lit, the outside boasts a view of Notre Dame. They serve a 33 Euro, 3 course menu — which we all enjoyed… along with 4 bottles of Chateauneuf du Pape. This was the first evening I decided against starting with the Escargot — and I regretted it! Now, my avocado, shrimp and mango salad was divine — but these snails(which I was able to steal– I mean sample) were the absolutely best escargot I had while in Paris. The texture of these plump Gastropods were perfect — the kitchen was not shy with garlic, and that only added to our enjoyment. For my main, I enjoyed the duck. It was perfectly pink and not too fatty, served with an array of fresh roasted veggies. Others enjoyed tuna or steak. I’ll just say I didn’t see any food left when we were done eating. I was a little concerned when we saw cheesecake on the menu — called«cheesecake» in French, not«gâteau formage» as our friendly(yeah– friendly, go figure) waiter. A few in our party ordered that and it was very — NY. I had the cheese plate and it was the first time I was disappointed. Two small wedges of brie? Really? Come on! Laminated menus in both French and English — a tip off that this is frequented by visitors from out of town, but then again, Paris is the most visited city in the world, you have to give somewhere.

Amazing. Our first meal in Paris and we lucked out. We were the only patrons In the restaurant and learned that most Parisians don’t eat dinner until 8pm… it was 630 when we arrived. Our waitress was fluent in English and was able to tell us about how the vegetables and fruits they used were from her parents farm in Toulouse and the eggs they use are from the chefs hen. Everything was delicious. Chestnut soup, smoked salmon were great starters. I had the slow cooked pork and my boyfriend had langoustine(sp?). Both were yum. Desserts were from another planet. I had the chocolate column thing and my boyfriend had this amazing meringue, cream, raspberry and caramel thing. To die for. Chef came out and thanked us. Awesome experience.
