L’Entrecote de Paris

Repas excellent et copieux. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, cependant notre serveuse était un peu «rêveuse» mais nous avons eu un bon service et le personnel était souriant.
Repas pour deux, environ 45euros. Viande délicieuse.
Ambiance déco resto-​bistro assez sympa.
Je conseil ce restaurant.

Simply the only way to describe this place… bang average unfortunately. When I go to Paris I love to eat Steak and Chips. Its like the standard thing to do at least once while you’re there. The food is great, generally the service is pretty good and yes the city is quite expensive when you’re in the heart of town but… when is it not expensive in a big city around the world!
1) the food here was quite good. not amazing but nice. My cousin was happy that the steak was nicely cooked and you got unlimited chips!
2) the service was pretty poor. Our waitress was very nice. She spoke English as well as French and to be fair her English was probably better than my French! However, the host, was rude, had an awful attitude and was generally unpleasant. My sister (who speaks Spanish and French more than fluently) was less than impressed with her attitude. She refused to take the bill because she was a host? When asked to refill the water jug on the table she did it was an attitude similar to a 5 year old child… However — the other hostess was really good and nice.
All in all 2 out of 5 is fair but if you’re looking for a proper Entrecôte experience, don’t go here! There are so much better in and around the area

Sorry but service was not even good like if they told then it’s a just job that forcing then to work or just take order so so sad to see places that they just don’t care ??? Will I ever go back NO WAY.

En visite à Paris, je suis rentrée en pensant que c’était le même resto qu’à Bordeaux («L’entrecôte» formule unique). Alors ça y ressemble car il existe la formule entrcôte + frite + sauce spéciale mais il y a aussi une carte avec plat du jour, viande rouge ou encore grande salade. Il y en a donc pour tous les goûts. J’ai pris un plat du jour (rôti de veau), excellent bien cuit, viande tendre, et mon ami a pris la formule qui est présenté comme à l’Entrecôte à Bordeaux (plat viande + frite sur chauffe plat bougies) mais la sauce n’ a rien à voir, celle de Paris est trop moutardée à mon goût.
Globalement nous avons bien mangé pour un prix raisonnable (36 € à 2). J’y retournerai sans problème…

Worst service… good beef

Eh… Ok at best. This is an ‘imposter’ entrecôte restaurant, located in the middle of Champs Elysees. We were hungry, saw the name, and hoping for the famous steak I have enjoyed at the ‘REAL’ Entrecôte in Bordeaux on multiple occasions, and also this past week in the Relais D’Entrecôte in Paris, and both are MUCH better than this place.
I knew there was a problem when we actually received a menu. There are numerous items on the menu, and if you have been to the REAL Entrecôte, this does not happen there as they simply come to your table and ask you how you want your meat cooked, and thats it. I also new there was a problem when there was no line out the door as there is ALWAYS a line out the door (lunch or dinner) at the REAL Entrecôte locations. The other problem I had was that the service was actually prompt, courteous, and responsive, which was not to my expectations either. So I knew we were semi-​screwed…
So we chose the entrecôte salad and meat course, and crossed our fingers. The salad was ok but ‘off’ from my expectations. The meat was just OK, but clearly inferior to my previous experiences. The sauce was the biggest disappointment, and while essentially decent, it was a clear ‘imposter’ (I’m using this word over and over…) and not the same as I had hoped/​expected.
The meal itself was decent but not up to my expectations and a touristic robbery of the entrecôte name. The food will probably be acceptable from the perspective of someone that has not visited the other restaurants– but my advice is to hunt them out and steer clear of this place. I will not return here ever.
