Bonne surprise d’Alésia.
Le lieu (en particulier au fond du restaurant) a son charme. Les plats sont des classiques efficaces (escalope à la milanaise, etc.), mais le wok de nouilles est une alternative proposée aux clients. Mon petit groupe n’a pas eu à se plaindre du contenu de son assiette, et l’on compte revenir prochainement (déjà revenus pour un verre le soir ceci dit) !

Very friendly staff, and fantastic duck confit. Excellent atmosphere. People all around seemed to be enjoying themselves. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Paris.

L’éphémère est un endroit envoûtant et surprenant. Du brunch matinal à l’ambiance tamisée; de la terrasse parisienne ensoleillée à la bibliothèque cuir et bois rétro, cette brasserie semble savoir ménager mes humeurs et mon état d’esprit. Réunion entre amis, dîner intime, goûter au calme avec un journal; rien né semble désarçonner ce cadre aux multiples facettes. Les plats sont soigneusement préparés et visuellement agréables et appétissants. Service rapide et personnel accueillant, sans oublier l’immanquable charme de Cannelle le chat, discrète et élégante quelque soit les circonstances.
Une vraie expérience de l’authentique brasserie parisienne sans forcément tout le côté pompeux et ridiculement cher de certaines enseignes.
L’éphémère is a captivating and surprising place. From the morning brunch to the subdued atmosphere; sunny terrace or vintage wooden library, this brewery seems to understand my moods and my state of mind. Meeting friends, intimate dinner or enjoying the quietness with a newspaper; nothing seems to throw this multifaceted framework. The dishes are carefully prepared and visually pleasing and appetizing. Fast and friendly service staff, not forgetting the unmistakable charm of Cannelle the cat, discreet and elegant whatever the circumstances.
A true experience of the authentic Parisian brasserie without necessarily all the pompous and outrageously expensive side of certain signs.

Très bon restaurant. Il y a des plats classiques comme un Tiramisu fabriqués à la maison et très savoureux. Le prix est normal, pas si cher et très juste. L’ambiance est traditionnelle, il y a des télés pour les fanatiques du foot.

We are sitting in Café L’Éphémére right now after reading reviews above. We just finished tour des Les Catacomes and wanted to see what was close by. This place was directly across from where we stood and thought to try.
After watching our neighbors’ plates delivered (presentation on their plates was nothing to write home about), we opted to find another place, get an appetizer and some wine. What a great idea. The previous reviewers must not have been in their right minds when writing about the food. Granted, we only had pan friend chêvre that tasted like everything else cooked in that pan.
The good things about this place (why it got three stars) were the service (waiter is really nice) and the Côtes du Rhôné isn’t bad at all. Remember, folks, it’s a brasserie. Get the alcohol. Expect little from the food.

Terrific food. The reviewer above was right, the confit de canard was amazing. Ravioli, carbonara, and pizzas were all great too! Top it off with a great drink at the bar!

What a pleasure to find a place with the quality you expect in a French brasserie. The atmosphere was pleasant, the good was excellent and portions were adequate. Best of all, the staff was more than tolerant of us Americans and both understood us and communicated with us very well. They even closely watched one in our party with a gluten allergy.

Déjeuner en terrasse un samedi midi dommage que le soleil né soit pas resté jusqu’au bout…
Le patron s’occupe du service avec son serveur dans une vraie ambiance de quartier.
Tartare pour lui et salade niçoise pour moi: 2 réussites! Simple mais efficace! :) Toujours un aussi grand choix de vins français et étrangers.
Note acceptable surtout pour prendre le soleil en terrasse! :)
