Only had a expensive espresso so not sure what to rate it. 4 stars for the great view of 2 Museums as their name says.

Good choice for lunch close to the Musee d’Orsay. The service was slow, as other reviewers have mentioned, but the food was good. The Café Gourmand dessert was the best I had in my entire trip. Lots of mini desserts on the plate and each one delicious.

The food was not bad. In fact the lamb chops were cooked well. Everything else was not as tasty. Usually I would give them 3 stars for just the food, but the service was awful. My family and I were very polite and asked for tap water. They gave us mineral water. After correcting them the waiter gave us an odd look and came back with a small container of tap water. We finished it after the appetizers and we asked to refill, the waiter scoffed at us and did not return with the water. We had to ask the manager to get us water and he was more polite but our waiter has ruined the restaurant for us. It’s not polite to assume that we are crass Americans just because we speak English

While the ladies were off exploring Musee d’ Orsay, I decided to just do my own thing and venture off into the neighborhood and walked all along the backstreets looking for a cool place to enjoy a coffee or cold beer. Then, it started raining. And not just a small drizzle but it showered down like crazy that I had to seek refuge at this place. Okay, so I did not intend on coming here but since I had to stay dry(and still wait for the ladies to finish at the museum), I knocked back a couple beers on the patio. Prices aren’t exactly the cheapest as it is right across the road from a famous landmark. But at the same time, you’ll get to soak in the vibe and people watch away. Service was particularly slow. And when you think about bad service in Paris, this place would be a perfect example of one. I sat down and the waiter takes my order down. One beer down after a good 15 minutes, second beer was coming. Then the waiter comes around and speaks to me in French after I am nearly done with my second beer and not knowing any French, I apologize. Note, that the entire time between me sitting down and ordering that second beer, I had the same exact server and everything with conducted in English prior to this. He then demands that I owe money for the bill. Okay… so I handed him my card and he then speaks in a rude manner(once again in French again)…I go, «I’m sorry, I cannot speak nor understand French…» He then states that there is 18 € minimum for the card. I needed to go to an ATM(left all my money with the ladies) as all I had was a stack of useless dollars and pounds. I speak with the owner/manager and he makes an exception and was nice about it after I told him how rude his employee was. The service here not only gave me the already bad impression I had on service in Paris but it reinforced it. Other than that, if you are okay with this rudeness(or expect it while here), then by all means enjoy your drink and people watching.

Just a three– but they did let us split a small Perrier and brought us three glasses with Ice! on the terrace. We only sat for ten minutes– the waiter was quick and business like, almost toooo curt. We got the vibe and decided to head on for a meal. Good location!!!

Situated outside of my favorite museum in Paris, the Orsay, this offers people watching without the normal price of a place outside a major museum. We enjoyed several glasses of wine while seated outdoors. The prices are average for Paris and they offered a variety of reds, whites, roses as well as a full menu, which we didn’t use. The snacks were a little off: soggy chips, but being free it’s not that big of a deal. Great spot for a glass or two after viewing the beautiful Orsay without having to pay huge prices.

Les Deux Musees is a great place to people watch and enjoy a cold drink after the Orsay. We spent at least an hour here, sipping cold beers while watching the world go by. Les Deux Musees sits on a very busy corner, just across from the Orsay and a Metro stop, so you get an interesting cross section of tourists and locals going by. We found the service pleasant and quick. No, it’s not cheap, but you’re across the street from one of the most famous museums in the world. Enjoy the first-class people watching.

This place wins some points for not having sky-high prices despite its being across the street from Musée d’Orsay. Unfortunately, the waiter tricked us into buying bottled water — even though I asked for a carafe d’eau(as is common throughout France), he implied that our only options were bottles of flat and sparkling water, so we opted for a bottle at the cost of 5 or 6 euros. Later, I noticed carafes on nearby tables. Sadface.
