The building is from the early 1900s and there is a giant elevator wheel made out of iron. It has high ceilings and the interior is all wood. It is decorated with rock photos and lanterns, a record player and a type writer. Great style. Comfy environment. The chef instantly becomes your friend and comes out to say hi to check in on his guests. The service is impeccable which is rare in France. Now the food… I mean, wow. Outstanding. It’s traditional French cuisine in all its glory but always with a unique twist. It’s rich and every bite is an explosion of flavor. Everything is homemade… even the desserts, which is also rare for most restaurants. The menu items are mostly meat based… high quality cuts of meat expertly prepared. With the size of the plates, there is no way you go home hungry. This is an undiscovered gem because it is sandwiched between cafés where people go to drink on the terrace. If you like real, good food… go to Les Rôtis.
