L’Escarmouche

This restaurant has a fun vibe and setting but I didn’t really enjoy the food. It is a four course meal. Although some of the dishes weren’t too tasteful. The onion soup and bread was good!
The men signing and dancing around with different instruments definitely adds a nice touch!

The French guys singing are very cool and fun but this place sucks ass.
I was with a tour group (Cosmos) and they had the welcome dinner here for 58 Euros. I had frog legs, beef bourguignon and crème caramel dessert. They gave wine too. It was alright. I literally drank an entire bottle myself because the food was so shitty. I was dead blasted retarded drunk (I’m a cheap drunk, what can I say) and the night wasn’t so bad when you combine alcohol and singing French men hitting on your mom…
I’ve had better French food in Los Angeles. AMERICA. AMERICA WHERE EVERYONE SAYS THE FOOD IS SHIT. HOLY FUCK THE FOOD HERE WAS SO DISGUSTING
It came cold and lukewarm and it was just tasting really bad. I thought all french food was disgusting after coming to this place but i was wrong, this place is just terrible.
the beef bourguignon was dry even if it was in sauce… and it tasted just old and nasty. ugh. crème caramel was okay, frog legs were weird but I like them better fried the dirty asian way. I tried the escargot too and it tasted like soil… i tried some at a farmer’s market in france and those didn’t taste like soil!
Basically if you do your research and your tour shit has a welcome dinner here, DON’T GO. Just look up some actually good restaurant somewhere and go there for dinner. Don’t feel peer pressured into going. If you end up going and you read this on the way there on your tour bus or some shit, just drink an entire bottle of wine and it’ll be alright.
