Excellent service and food. I ordered the 26 euro meat… The Meat was a little too hard but still good. Honestly this is the first real full meal I’ve had in Paris. Everywhere else the portions served are time. I’m glad I ate here. Oh and there’s not many places open at 10pm. I’m glad this place was

Service was slow keep in mind they were busy. Which is what drew us in. A busy place usually means a yummy place. What had us irritated was people around us that came in after were getting orders placed and had food arriving before us. I didn’t like that I couldn’t order beer from the bar I had only two options Heineken and a Belgium beer. Drinks ordered at the bar had to be consumed at the bar only. The sauces that came with the rum steak(17 Euro) were amazing! One was a house made horseradish like mustard and the other was a peppercorn creamy gravy. We ordered the steak with a sidle of greens. Options for sides were French fries(which were good), fresh greens or mashed potatoes. I ordered the entrecôte buron which was 26 Euro. Disappointing in that I paid more for this cut of meat and the For dessert we had a traditional Irish coffee was delightful. This place would have recorded 4 stars if the service was faster and the server did not forget both of our French onion soup :(

Loved it!!! My family and I were looking for a nice sit down restaurant near our hotel that had the classic French Restaurant feel. We came across this restaurant and decided to try it. We loved it!!! We ordered escargot and French onion soup for our appetizers, which we split among the family. There were 12 escargot and four of us, so that worked out well. Both appetizers were very good. Then, for our second course: I ordered the rib steak béarnaise(holy Jesus it was amazing), my mom ordered some sort of salad(I forget what it was called but it had goat cheese and tomatoes and it was pretty good), my dad ordered the steak tartare(which I personally thought was disgusting but he liked it), and my grandma got salmon(I didn’t try it because I don’t like fish but everyone else liked it). We also got dessert: the apple tart with vanilla ice cream, which was just heavenly, and then the coffee with gourmet desserts, which is a cappuccino with little tastes of different French desserts. Fair warning, though, I ordered the apple tart thinking that it would be like apple pie – it was more tart than apple pie. Apple pie in the U.S. is very sweet and sugary, this was very tart. However, the ice cream made it taster better! Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Friendly service, decent food, in a nice location next to the Arc de Triomphe. Touristy? With its location, inevitably. I’d say touristy, but pretty good and quite fun. The chevre chaud salad was good but the cheese was on half-slices of wheat toast(lame) instead of little baguette croutons and the eggs were hard boiled instead of poached or soft-boiled which is more normal and better testing.

The servers were very friendly but overwhelmed, food was not bad, I have had much better We order the wrong dish and they gladly replaced it with out a fuss. They made mistakes like bringing more bread when we asked for butter and I asked for a separate check but they brought the whole thing on one check Not a bad experience all in all

Disappointing. Read the reviews and was optimistic. The filet was overcooked and tasted like fish. French fries were good. Would not come again.

One of the first restaurants we had in Paris(walking distance from Arc de Triomphe. Service was a tad bit slow but the food was very flavorful. Highly suggest the lamb leg entrée and the cheese and meat plate appetizer(we specifically asked for this assortment). Also the homemade chocolate cake was delicious. All of that plus three glasses of wine came out to 60 € which isn’t bad. Note: 1) tight space, 2) not a wide variety of selection, 3) dirty restroom

My husband and I just ate here and had a wonderful dinner. We shared the ribeye steak for two with mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious food, the steak was a little over cooked but we weren’t sure how to order American«rare» and ordered our steak red. We also indulged in the tarte de pomme a la mode which was amazing. Service was great, friendly, and comedic. Ambiance was great, lively, and classy.

Went there yesterday with my family for an early lunch. I was not impressed. It’s overpriced, and the food is average at best. I’ve had better escargot in other places. The waitress was not attentive, but the waiter who helped her was better, and friendly. Will not be returning.

I honestly couldn’t recommend L’Etoile. It’s near the Arc de Triomphe, pricey, decent food but service could be better. My friends and I never had to wait for a table here on the plus side. The food was good but 8.50 Euros for a croque monsieur was a bit much for a just okay sandwich. I ordered the croque madam which comes with an egg and they incorrectly brought out my order. I didn’t bother to correct the mistake when it came out though so I can’t fault them too much. Our waitress didn’t seem to want much to do with our table and gave us a smidge of an attitude so we didn’t bother ordering drinks or anything else. Ate our food and rolled out! If you’re in the area, there are honestly a lot of other options in the area and I would recommend going to any of those. Including a nice café right across the road.

My review of L’Etoile 1903 is strictly based upon the brunch menu, and not any of the dinner menu items.. . Situated within a stones throw from the Arc de Triomphe, I was expecting somewhat higher prices and touristy food. L’Etoile did not disappoint in these predictions whatsoever! Upon walking in, the single serve walked by us several times before asking us if we wanted to have breakfast here(no we wanted to see what a touristy Parisian restaurant looks like!). Much to her surprise, we did want to eat there! After being seated we were not spoken to for around 10 minutes, with several other couples around us, who came in after us, being brought drinks and bread. As if we were burdening her by dining at L’Etoile, our server finally came over and reluctantly took our orders, which consisted of my breakfast platter and my partners Croque Monsieur. To our surprise the food actually arrived in a decent amount of time. My breakfast($ 12+) consisted of some bread with jam and butter, croissant, a cereal that I could only compare to chocolate cocoa puffs, a childrens size coffee, and the most unfresh orange juice I have ever tasted. The bread was rough, the cocoa puffs tasted like 2nd grade, the juice disrupted my stomach, and the coffee went down better with multiple sugars. My partner«loved» her Croque Monsieur, however, I think this statement was based more upon her not wanting me to give her more trouble for choosing this restaurant. After $ 30.00 and terrible, I mean horribly terrible service, we both left still hungry as we headed toward the Arc de Triomphe. I suppose it’s our own fault for expecting friendly service as a non french speaking couple and something decent to eat around the Arc. When looking for a breakfast/brunch option around this area, skip L’Etoile 1903 and look for a local bakery!

After 2 days of despair lunch here was much better in quality, service and value. Great fix price, portions are huge and well made. The chateaubriand was perfect as was the cheese plate, pâté and duck confit. Enough to share. Not French don’t understand the custom, so don’t bother to explain and just ask for extra silverware…

I realize saying the best dinner doesn’t say much, but it does… After a horrible experience trying to get dinner, we’re walking on our way back towards the hotel, we’re hungry, we’re irritated, it’s 11:00PM and what place will be open except Macdonald’s, we come across this brasserie with nice red lighting and happy lounge music and ask if they’re still serving dinner, which they are! We sit down, and immediately get water. We order and we get a yummy apéritif called kir and some bordeaux and we’re in la la land. Foie gras, salmon tartine, lamb falling off the bone, duck so succulent, dessert so yummy all my worries disappeared. And service! Excellent service… All I can say, by the time we were tumbling out happy it was past midnight and we didn’t care… So happy our first night on our honeymoon!
