I stayed at a suite here in April. Employees are nice and professional. The size of the suite, for me, is fantastic. For about $ 200(USd), we had a separate bedroom, a bathtub w. shower &2 sinks, small living room(with sofabed), a separate toilet with sink, and an entrance area where you could put your luggage and hang coats, etc… There are 2 tv, and 2 mini bar fridges. The décor looks new. The shower is a ‘rain shower’ which I love. They have installed mostly Villeroy and Boch hardware. Linens were super comfy, great sleep. I do not have a view of the city, but I stayed out most days, so that didn’t bother me at all. I wish they have a water pot in the room, but it’s no problem going downstairs to ask for a pot of hot water, very pleasant employees here. On the same block is a Metro station(Reamur-Sebastopol stop — serviced by line 3 and line 4), can’t get better than that. I’ll add more later when I could think of anything else to add. Basically, I’ll stay in this hotel/room again. Free WIFI. My rate did not include breakfast, so I can’t comment on it.

My husband and I are currently on our last night of 7 at this hotel. I currently hear the neighbor snoring. The walls are so thin that you can practically hear your neighbor’s conversation. At one point, a neighbor bammed on the wall at us, and I am sure I was not talking very loudly. The rooms are very small. We came in one day to find our room smelling like smoke. They moved us to another that also smelled like smoke, but on a positive note have a great view, but a smaller room and a patio. HOUSEKEEPING is horrible. No privacy. Most housekeepers come in AFTER check out times. Not this hotel. They bam on the door and when you tell them to go away they come back and barge in. This happened almost everyday of my 7 day trip. It was horrible. There was no sleeping in late at this hotel. Seems like the housekeepers just want to come in, do their job, and leave with no regard for the guest. Very poor service. This really ruined my experience at this hotel. I would advise that others stay away if they don’t like smoky rooms, small rooms, and inconsiderate housekeepers. The staff is nice thought. they try to accommodate you.

Nettes Hotel in guter Lage.

This is the perfect Parisian hotel. It’s quaint and intimate and totally cute! Inexpensive for Paris and close to everything. The one draw back is that there are some sketchy characters hanging around the neighborhood who may or may not be «working.» But really, this hotel is great good fun! I found the rooms to be incredibly comfortable, charming and cozy. They aren’t huge but they don’t need to be. The really small elevator is a trip — especially when you cram four grown adults inside. But space isn’t as important as comfort so this hotel gets high marks for the latter. The view — OH! The VIEW! Incredible. If you are lucky enough to get a window that opens onto a patio then you are in luck. You can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance and the picturesque city all around. Free wi-fi is an added bonus plus there is a small business center with a computer for guests to use. Also, they offer a nice breakfast(for an additional fee of course) which is a solid option for the guy or gal on the go. The website is easy to navigate and convenient for making reservations. The front door is locked at night but there is someone available to let you in if you ring the bell. That’s an excellent safety feature. I found the staff to be helpful and polite. They gave us directions to restaurant, bars and train stations. Over all you can’t beat the service. As might be expected most staff members speak English so yay for that :-) Next time I am in Paris I will for sure be back to this hotel. It’s Golden!

I think someone paid Tripadvisor to rate this as a 4 star hotel. This was nowhere near a 4 Star! If this is your first time in Paris DONOT stay here. It will leave a poor impression. Stay in the Latin Quarter. It’s where it action is located. OMG! The first room we reserved was a suite. We walked in and thought it was the ugliest room in a hotel we ever saw. We requested another with a view of something other then a disgusting court yard of dirt and broken glass. The gave us a room with a window that opened up to a little balcony and I have to admit the view was amazing. The room wasn’t, it smelled like dead rat so we moved again. In our new room my husband could touch both walls if he stretched his arms out. Our suit cases barely fit in the room. I couldn’t bend over to pick up the soap I dropped in the shower without opening the door, forget shave my legs… The only plus this hotel has is that the staff was was very nice. It made all the difference in the world.

Small hotel, with typically small rooms. Staff was excellent — very friendly and helpful. I liked the location, not right in touristy area, but walkable to lots. Our windows opened to a small balcony that looked out onto a park and a small side street — both were great for people-watching. Hotel was right off Sebastapol, which was a busy road and there were 2 Metro stations within 5 minutes walk. Was a 10-minute walk to Rue Montorgueil — an amazing permanent market street with boulangeries, chocolatiers, patisseries, cafes, etc. Room itself was small but tidy. Biggest complaint was lack of outlets — the single one was the tv one and our«universal» adapter didn’t work — bought another and cycled various electronics through it. Other room issue was that the bathroom doors open right into the center of the room and had frosted glass doors that you could see through — not a huge deal for us, but could be for some.
