I was fooled by the good reviews. I thought the food was under spiced and under salted.

Wow. If you are looking for great authentic Thai food, this is the place. I been to Thailand many times and been all over Paris being fooled by overpriced crap. These are warm and friendly Thai people cooking as you watch them! Trust me, this is the place to eat Thai and the portions are big too! 9 euro for a huge plate of delicious pad thai!

Good restaurant we found randomly walking down the street. The menu had pictures of the items which was helpful since our French isn’t very good. The service there was great. The seating inside was a little tight, however. I tried the Pad Thai noodles with Shrimp and it was good but a little different than what we are used to in Miami. I also ordered chicken in red curry sauce which came with white rice, veggie spring rolls and some type of Papaya salad on the side. My hubby ordered beef with a ginger/citrus sauce that was good as well.

Very good location, near the Louvre museum. It’s in the Japan area but you can choose this Thai restaurant instead: p There’s menu with small salad and«nem,» which is freshly fried, very crispy and juicy!!! You can adjust the degree of spice at your will but try normal Thai taste !! It’s really good :) highly recommended.

Hey everyone, there’s a new Thai food player in town and they’ve got some skills! Meiwenti is perfectly located at the corner of rue Richelieu an rue des Petits Champs which is more or less the epicenter of Asian food in Paris. It’s clean and smallish — about 20 seats. The food is not only good, but a fantastic value as well. Their red curry lunch special is curry with chicken(rice included), 2 nems and a small salad. Pad Thai with shrimp(or chicken) and a drink is another of their lunch specials. Total cost for two lunches = € 21. Serving sizes are generous and there is a fair amount of protein(chicken and shrimp) in each dish. They also remove the shrimp from its shell before adding it to the dish — which is welcome and a bit unusual around here. It basically means that you don’t have to stick your fingers in the food to get to all the meat. I was a little less impressed with the Pad Thai, but it was still better than average. The salad was unusual — I think it was a combination of green papaya and cabbage with spices added — nice. Be sure to ask for additional pepper if you want a little(read ANY) heat. There is also pepper oil on the side that you can add yourself. Impressive. I’ll return.
