I stayed here this week while attending the JEC Europe show. The proximity of the hotel to the expo center was very convenient. My room was modern with a balcony and felt as if it were recently updated. The staff spoke with me in English and were very friendly. There is a tram and metro station immediately in front of the hotel which makes getting into and around Paris a breeze. Cons: As a someone here on business I found the desk space to be rather small and inconveniently located within the room. Once you move the coffee tray, one could fit a laptop on it but there isn’t space for much else. Every morning I placed the«Do Not Disturb» sign on my room when I left each morning because there was no reason for the room to be made up. I came back each day to find that the maid had come in and cleaned up anyway.

I give 3 because its a 3 star hotel. It’s clean and modern, but lacking in service. No one to meet you at the curb to help with your bags, no smiles at the front desk, particularly the ice queen with the glasses. They seem annoyed to be doing their job. We just came from the Renaissance in the Vendome, so we are a little spoiled with the service from there.

Modern, well-managed, with comfortable accomodations. The hotel is situated in the La Defense sector of Paris, close to financial institutions and other office buildings. It’s an ideal stay for those wishing to stay out of the busy city center. It appears that the establishment is somewhat popular with tourists as well. The neighborhood features a few boutique restaurants, including a café and bar in the attached shopping center. A McDonald’s is also located up the street for those who’re hankering for a bit of Americana.
