Mercure Terminus Nord

Accueil froid.
Température de la douche trop basse et impossible à régler.
Wifi tellement lent qu’il en est inutilisable (moins de 20kb/​s), même en prenant l’option payante censée être plus rapide.
En contactant le numéro de service client, le 2424, la personne au bout du fil m’a simplement expliqué qu’il né pouvait rien faire pour moi, ni m’aider avec mon problème de connexion, ni me rembourser.
Bref, en service indigne du Mercure ou de n’importe quel hôtel qui se respecte.

Great location close to many restaurants, shops… The hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Our room is very comfortable with a nice bed. TV with French /​English channels, bathtubs and desk.
Excellent quality/​Price.

De passage à Paris je me suis dit allez fais-​toi un petit plaisir (craquage?) et prend toi une chambre d’hôtel où tu seras bien.
Alors par quoi commencer? Le lobby, vous entrez dans l’hôtel par une porte tournante et au sol vous avez une très jolie
boussole dessinée, détail qui fait tout son charme.
L’accueil par le personnel a été plus que cordial, j’ai même eu la possibilité de choisir si je voulais une chambre côté gare du nord ou côté cour. On m’indique le chemin de la chemin de ma chambre qui se trouve au 5ème étage et là…
Ma chambre est vraiment grande, les toilettes sont séparées de la salle de bain ce qui est à remarquer. Mais surtout le lit! C’est simple, sa largeur correspondait à ma taille (1m69), je vous raconte pas les roulés-​boulés que j’ai fait pendant la nuit tellement j’avais de place. Vous avez également accès au Wifi pour toute la durée de votre séjour.
Je n’ai pas pris le petit déjeuner donc je né peux pas vous dire ce qu’il en est, en revanche j’ai eu besoin d’imprimer quelques papiers et on m’a indiqué le Business lounge où il y a un ordinateur avec accès à internet et une imprimante. Un service de bagagerie est également à votre disposition si vous souhaitez laisser votre valise pour la journée.
En gros, une petite folie (109 € la chambre ça va encore) pour une jolie découvert qui valait la peine

This was a perfectly placed hotel for our brief stay in Paris.
The bedroom furniture had been updated and were fine. The lone English-​speaking channel on TV was CNN, but we weren’t really there to watch TV and only had it on while we got dressed in the morning. The let-​down was the bathroom. It was clean and serviceable, but quite tired. Everything in there seemed to be chipped or worn (yes, even the toilet seat).
There was no complimentary breakfast, but it was available if we had decided to pay for it (which we didn’t). There is a kettle in the room and tea/​coffee, but hardly any creamers — you will definitely need to ask for more if you take milk in your drinks.
The wifi seemed to work fine and it was easy to register. The safe was not in working order which was irksome (not that my computer would have fit anyway — it’s big enough for ‘maybe’ a 10″ tablet).
My other irk was that they do not honour the Do Not Disturb sign. They marched right past our sign and sorted the room (which we didn’t want or need). If you absolutely, positively do not want anyone in your room you will have to say something at reception.
The irks notwithstanding it would not stop me from staying there again if we could get the same screaming deal that we got this time.

I had a great stay here. Very clean and comfortable with extremely helpful staff. I was particularly impressed by the lovely woman on the front desk who went out of her way to give many good and varied tips for Paris which ranged from transport, tourist attractions public toilets and chicken. Free wifi on all floors and complimentary bottle of water too.

The rooms are in very poor condition. My room has pieces of the wall falling off. The staff isn’t too friendly and there is trouble communicating with them. Don’t expect early check in.

Ein ideales Hotel für Geschäftsreisende es liegt zentral direkt am Gare du Nord und ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Das freundliche Personal empfängt einen sehr aufmerksam und die Zimmer sind für den Pariser Standard groß. Ich habe das Einzelzimmer für 109 € bekommen was für Paris eher günstig ist vorallem in der guten Lage. In 15 min ist man am Eifelturm mit der RER B und C. Die Gallery La Fayette ist mit der Metro 7 nur wenige Stationen entfernt. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung sind diverse Bars Pubs und Restaurants wo man von teuer bis günstig slles findet

My bff wanted to try this place because of the restaurant below and the proximity to the train station. The rooms were clean and cozy. I liked that they had the Nespresso machine and the complimentary continental buffet breakfast. The food was fresh and with a slight French flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the consistency of the service was inconsistent.

Petit déj. correct mais cher. Vous me direz dans le quartier c’est un peu tout pareil

Ca c’est une mes plans préférés. Le quartier de la Garde du Nord n’et pas cool il faut bien le dire: pas de cafés sympas à se mettre sous la dent, pas d’endroits cools où squatter pépère. Alors oui il y a bien le Terminus, c’est sympa mais souvent très animé.
En revanche un vrai bon plan, c’est le bar de l’hôtel Mercure au 1er étage, un pur plan cosy, sympa et hyper confortable.
