Grabbed some cheese and ham from this Monoprix for a picnic. Layout was a little confusing. I was having trouble finding what I wanted until I realized there was a second floor. Service was great. The cashier gave us disposable utensils to use for our picnic. It would have been very messy trying to eat the Camembert without it…

This Monoprix is like the Harvey Nics food counter. The fruit and Veg look beautiful, so much colour and variety all displayed enticingly like a high end, rustic grocery store. An array of cured meats, cheese’s and delicious wines — some on excellent offers with great value for money, make sure you keep a look out! On my visit to Paris, it wasn’t feasible to keep eating out everywhere as its probably one of the most expensive city’s in the world. So a few times for lunch, we came in here and bought bread, cheese and ham — even a cheeky bottle of wine instead! Delightfully simple and great on a budget. I only wish we had one near me! P.s check to see if the Chablis is still on offer, we got a few bottles for about € 5 – 6’s each! And usually you can try what’s on offer before you buy. Sorted.

Really small as far as Monoprix locales are concerned but definitely higher end due to the St Germain area. Two stories, with a nice wine section and an excellent array of saucisson. I love the crazy versions of American products that we dont get in the US. Poulet Roti Lays potato chips anyone?

I am so happy about the arrival of Monoprix near my hotel, corner of Rue du Bac and Montalembert. It is nice to have an alternative. They carry everything once could need and then some.
