This fancy new Monop is equipped with a café corner, a nice sized wine cave, lots of big bright refrigerators and one of those check-​out stations with digital number displays that tells you which cashier is open. High tech baby!
Too bad that the line extended all the way to the back of the store when I was there. It eventually moved fast, but it’s a bit jarring to see one gigantic queue of people stretch past the aisles, preventing people from shopping normally and creating a general tension since you can only imagine all of the huffing and eye rolling going on there.
