I would liken this to a «Target.» We visited 2 locations while in Paris, both located in Montrouge. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find what we needed most, which was disappointing. I did, however have fun shopping and was impressed with the gluten free food items they carried. They also carry a HUGE selection of dairy products. The cheese counter was really amazing, and I’ve never in my life seen so many yogurt choices. Definitely recommend to Americans for a comfortable place to shop. Bring your own bags.

Bön magasin, bien fourni, bien tenu mais, hélas, hélas, trois fois hélas, le vigile est bien trop zélé et vous suis exactement comme si vous etiez l ennemi public numéro 1 tout en vous jetant des regards menacants. Au debut je me suis cru parano mais quand ma compagne et un ami m ont rapporté avoir eu la la meme experience desagreable j ai commencé à me dire qu on devrait tout de même lui apprendre son métier à ce brave monsieur…

This is the Monoprix in my good where I discovered that the French actually have American treats: cheddar cheese (special cheese section) and also bacon — yup– American style (poitrine fumee). This monoprix has a very good dried fruit and nut section compared to other branches. The only thing keeping it from a 5th star is they close at 21:45, I prefer 24 hours obvi.
