Fantastic food, nice outdoor patio across the street, with an old style euro restaurant. Outdoor location includes an active bar, and much more modern feel. I haven’t found anything that isn’t great to eat. I like it because it’s off the beaten path, and much better prices the hot spots

Beautiful presentation of foods, multi lingual service staff, authentic homemade pastas and sauces and delightful wine menu. The taste of the cuisine makes one feel so much. So rich and beautiful for the palate.

Usually I scoff when my coworkers keep going back to the same place over and over again. I hate to admit it, but I found myself happily tagging along 3 or 4 times over the course of about 10 days. They say that first impressions are everything and that was definitely the case with Mozza. They won me over with the welcoming outdoor space and a bartender who made beautiful, tasty cocktails. If you’ve read my previous reviews, you know that I’m a sucker for a good cocktail but I seem to have trouble finding them in Europe. So when we arrived early for dinner one night, we decided to try out some drinks. Mozza has clearly put some thought into their cocktail list and the bartender we had the first night definitely took pride in mixing them. After some deliberation, I started out with a mango pepper daiquiri. This was not some super sweet frozen concoction, it was fresh mango purée with delicious Havana Club rum(makes everything better in my opinion), topped with freshly ground pepper. So good. I won’t keep gushing about the cocktails but I will let you know that I think I tried the entire menu over the course of my visits. All were well balanced and delicious. Although, I will say that our first bartender made the drinks with the best presentation, probably because we caught him before he got busy. On to the food. As you can imagine, we tried a lot of different menu items. My favorite, though, was the veal tagliatelle. It tasted just like my mom’s lasagna(I know, weird, but oh my goodness, so good!). It’s huge but I couldn’t stop eating it. I wised up and split it with a friend the next time. We also had the Polpette e Rigatoni, Bigoli e Calamari, a few of the flatbreads, and the vitello tonnato with avocado… to name a few. The vitello tonnato was our least favorite, mostly because the avocados weren’t even close to ripe. Quickly forgotten, though, since everything else was so good. The outdoor patio is the place to be in the summer, it is always packed and the servers seem to get quite busy. We tried to drop by for a drink one night and sat inside(no room at the bar outside) and ended up leaving because we could never get a server’s attention, they were too busy with everyone outside. So I guess my tip is, in the summer, make sure you get a seat outside. Mozza was the clear favorite out of all of the restaurants we visited in Monte Carlo. I’m sure you’ll find me there again, sipping some cocktails on the patio. Yum!

The calamari was incredibly tender with a light breading. The spezzata moules included shrimp, fish, calamari, and mussels. It was almost like a seafood spaghetti stew and was a very comforting hearty meal. Menus are not in English but the waiters seemed friendly enough if you needed assistance. Nice ambiance and décor which I heard was recently renovated. Overall, a solid choice for a reasonably priced meal in Monaco. Calamari Veal Pappardelle Spezzata moules
