Nadaraj

Nataraj is a Terrible restaurant in the Land of Exquisite Food. It’s a shame because you could find a ton of Indian housewives and unemployed Students in France to cook better food than what their supposedly paid «cooks» dish out as «Indian Food». Notice that I called Nataraj a «terrible restaurant», not just an «Indian restaurant» since the food is just awful. The owner can as well close this place and open a Kabab restaurant and serve the same food and no one will notice the difference! It is that bad.
I would urge the owner for the sake of his future cash flow to find a good chef pronto. Otherwise even the very few French denizens I saw will turn their backs after their first and only visit.

This was pretty ho-​hum. I wanted to like it because the waiter (only one, poor guy) welcomed me kindly, even though I was alone and that is usually kind of a deal killer in Paris restaurants. So service was nice, but food pretty mediocre. I had chicken Tikka masala and cheese naan, and both were bland and not terribly fresh tasting. I don’t think I’ll go back, but I do appreciate the overly generous pichet of rosé and free liqueur (vodka?) at end of meal.

I can’t be 100% sure, but when attempting to order vegan food here (and keep in mind that the waiter spoke perfect English) they offered to leave the «butter» (ghee) out of a dish, but I don’t think they did. I think they just thought I wouldn’t know the difference, but I did.

Franchement, j’ai passé un merveilleux moment dans ce resto.
La nourriture était très bonne, servi dans une sorte de plateau repas. Les cheese nans étaient très bonnes.
Gros problème, le resto est trop petit et on est tous collé l’un à l’autre. Les prix sont plutôt attractifs pour une ville comme Paris.
Mais malheureusement les portions sont bien trop petites à mon gout, le dessert le fameux gâteau à miel est bien trop petit, un coup de cuillère et c’est fini.
Ma foi, coté prix ça va et coté gout c’est convenable.
