Excellent food and excellent service. Appears to be a place many older locals go to for brunch and drinks. We shared mussels with French fries with a delightful crème fraise topping, baked Camembert cheese with honey, and a lovely ham and cheese salad with some fresh squeezed orange juice and cappuccino. Perfect location next to the Pere lechaise. The waiters were very attentive and friendly, and the place is very very reasonably priced for top notch French experience. 4.5 stars!

Cute small restaurant to stop in for a beer. We came here after visiting Jim Morrison’s grave. My hubby and I shared a Caesar salad which was good but didn’t resemble what I know to be a Caesar salad. But as I said it was still good. The service was not bad for Paris either.

Excellent service and the waiter spoke very good English. Tables outside and in, they didn’t mind that we chose a different table than the one they pointed us to. After getting settled, the waiter brought over the day’s menu, which is a list of stuff written on a chalk board. In French, but most of it was very easy to figure out. We had a chicken salad, a hamburger maison(«house burger») and a bowl of onion soup. We also enjoyed a glass of the house red and two draft beers. The food was excellent. While we weren’t asked how we wanted the burger, it was a nice medium with a good amount of emmental cheese melted on it. The soup was thick and rich, the salad had a good portion of sliced roasted chicken and the right amount of dressing. While dining, another table had a nice plate of steak tartare that was rather tempting. Located just at the corner of the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise, it was a much needed stop at the downhill end of the walk.
