Paris Wine Day Tours

This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. We took the Wine and Country tour. It was great. We arrived at the pick up spot before the tour started and saw several other people at the pick up spot. After a short introduction, our guide, JB provided an overview of the day. It did not disappoint. First, we drove to a small village and busy local market. We purchased some the 10 day aged crottin cheese, strawberries, and a baguette. Amazing! They were all so delicious and very affordable. We then drove to the Sancerre area for our wine tastings. I was a little worried that we were only going to one winery, but the experience and the multiple wine tastings were wonderful. Next, we went to lunch. Where we had a wonderful three course meal with wine. It was then off to a small French village and a wonderful castle where we had a guided tour by the owner. It was wonderful day and worth missing a day in Paris.

This was possibly my favorite part of our trip to Paris! JB was a wonderful, knowledgeable, and completely charming host! It was a perfectly sized group, comfortable coach (transportation) and a lovely selection of vineyards and farm to visit! People keep asking me about my trip to Paris and this is always the first experience that comes to mind. Don’t shy away from the price, it is more than worth it for what is included as well as the awesome people you’ll meet! It is not to be missed! I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to doing it again on my next trip to Paris!

Having been on a wine tour bus in Napa, CA last year, I just knew I had to find one for our honeymoon in France. My husband still raves about the tour and we created some really wonderful memories, while exploring part of the countryside.

The best memory I have was not actually about the wine tasting, but exploring the little town of Sancerre. First, we stopped at this interesting little museum, that even had a 4-​D movie experience — about wine! Then, we were able to explore the city by foot. Finally, we waited for the bus all while overlooking the countryside. It was quite the picturesque scene for what you would think the countryside would be like. Strolling the streets hand in hand with my husband was by far the best part.
Oh, and the goat cheese stop is AMAZING. We cry when we think that we can’t get that fresh of cheese here. Seriously? YES.

Had an amazing day trip visiting local vineyard! The group size was perfect, and the guide and host, Jean-​Bernard was fun, informative, and well experienced. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth the trip (and absolutely recommended) if you’re able to swing the cost.

Wonderful day! JB is a great host and taught us about wine and the French countryside. This tour is a must for everyone wanting a break from running around Paris. Visited a local market where you can pick up fresh, locally made food, cheese, chocolates. Went to a winery and learned about wine and had many wonderful samples. Visited a small town and walked around. A great day which will never be forgotten thanks to JB.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our wine day tour with JB this last June. JB was a very good guide, and the group was large enough to be fun, but small enough to get a lot of personal interactions with the wine makers and cheese producer. The tour was a perfect addition to our trip to Paris. The day was filled with wonderful views, visits to wineries, a wonderful cheese producer as well as a medieval hilltop town. I strongly recommend including Paris Wine Day Tours on your trip to France!

This tour is a must! We took this tour two years ago when we visited Paris for 2+ weeks. To this day it still stands out as our favorite tour. (That is truly saying a lot considering we were in Paris!). I would wholeheartedly endorse it. Enjoy!
