We went for a late lunch after the Rodin Museum.
Pros: the mushrooms with the poached egg on top was one of my top dishes in Paris. I still dream of it. The foie gras was good, but the toast was quite burnt (not beyond edible though). The location was great, and the place was full of happy French people. Loved that.
Cons: pork loin was quite dry. Staff was not friendly.
Would I go back? Yes — for the mushrooms!

This Resturant provided a very satisfying lunch experience. After visiting the grand opening of the newly renovated Rodin museum we strolled over for a look at Napoleons tomb. Wow, that will work up an appetite! So, I fired up Unilocal and noticed a well reviewed place close. After walking a long distance in Paris that morning I was ready for some good French wine and food. Pasco did not disappoint. Everything from the sea bass appetizer to the filet mignon to the exquisite desert and espresso was prepared and served exquisitely. I recommend going if you are anywhere close. In addition, Paris is known for its two hour lunches and we closed the place down!

Only ½ block from Napoleon’s Tomb, Pascos is a pleasant 1 and ½ hour fine dining experience at moderate cost. Great service, presentation and although it can get $$$ their $ 36 fixed price selections are a real bargain. Their Sunday selection: ½ bottle of wine, starter, main, desert and coffee was the best we found in Paris. Hazelnut ice cream with hot fudge topping was a true dessert.

Une valeure sûre située dans le 7e arrondissement de Paris entre Ecole Militaire et Tour Maubourg.
Le restaurant est plutôt grand et décoré dans des teintes chaudes. Il y a aussi des tables à l’extérieur, tout autour du restaurant. En fait, c’est parfait parce que cela fait que l’on né mange pas les uns sur les autres. Tout le monde a de la place et le service est au top!
Le Pasco propose une cuisine du Sud qui né reste heureusement pas trop longtemps sur l’estomac! Ce midi-​là j’avais pris le poisson du jour sur un lit de poireaux. Le poisson était excellent, les poireaux fondaient dans la bouche. La présentation était également soignée et donnait vraiment envie d’attaquer. Quant aux quantités, il y a juste ce qu’il faut! En dessert, j’ai craqué pour la mousse au chocolat… hum…j’en rêve encore. Servie avec de l’orange confite, cela relevait le goût de la mousse, c’était trop bon!
Si vous avez bon appétit, E/​P/​D pour 30 € le midi ou formule plat/​verre de vin/​café à 19 €! Que demander de plus?

This place was recommended by some other Americans that had recently been to Paris. They said they had a really great server and some really great food. Specifically, there was a duck appetizer and a duck main course they recommended.
We made our way there on the Metro, and found that the menu had changed… no duck to be found anywhere. As many restaurants do, they had a fixed price for a «pick one appetizer, pick one main course and pick one dessert», which is what we did. I think it was € 30 per person, or € 25 per person without dessert. The food was really yummy, but we didn’t have a very fun server. I’d go back there if I were near.

They should figure out the times they are open. It says it’s open from noon until nighttime and it’s now 3pm and it was closed. Such a long walk for nothing. What a shame for a place that seemed so nice. I was really looking forward to it.

The review is for the icy treatment we received at the door. We arrived almost an hour before closing. We had come back to our hotel from an all day bus tour and just wanted a warm meal.
We stood awkwardly at the entrance with no greeting as we tried to flag someone down. I felt they were actively trying to ignore us. Finally, one of them looked down at her watch, shook her head, said very coldly, «closed,» then walked off. Didn’t invite us to return or offer take-​away options, not that we cared at that point.
We ended up walking over to Le Bosquet, which is open until 11:30 pm, is way more tourist-​friendly, has good food, and takes customers pretty much up until the time they say they will.
Despite this being the closest restaurant to our hotel, we refused to go there out of principle during our entire week long stay.

Was near our hotel and when we saw a night they had open tables, we hurried over. Got there on the late side but they seated us immediately. Everything was excellent, from the foie gras to the duck confit, the spicy leg of lamb, all winners. Fantastic chocolate cake w/​pistachio ice cream to end the night. Service was excellent, they gave us English and French menus so we could at least try to order in French. A terrific experience, definitely need reservations if you are going during prime hours. Well worth the visit.

Marvellous restaurant! really enjoyed having a proper french meal in a decent ambience with great service and only a short walk to the Eiffel tower after dinner. would def recommend.

So wonderful! Everything was delicious! Best meal in Paris so far. Very good value, service was prompt and sweet. Décor was so cute and cozy. We had dinner at Café Constant last night, but Pasco is way better!

We went as a group of 8 for lunch on the basis of the reviews. We were not disappointed — professional and slick service, fantastic food and a reasonable price. As the experience was so good we booked for dinner a couple of nights later for a party of 12. Once again they delivered, the set menu was a very good price, the food was really very good. We had eaten out every night of the 7 night stay and this restaurant was, by group the consensus the best. Thoroughly recommended.

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately when we arrived, it was empty. No signs, or anything. The owner needs to update that their closed, well at least for lunch.

Excellent rapport qualité-​prix (menu entrée-​plat-​dessert, sur une sélection de plats pas tellement restreinte à partir de la carte, pour 30 euros (le midi en semaine en tout cas)). L’établissement est labellisé «maître restaurateur «, ça vaut d’être signalé — ce label mériterait à gagner en notoriété. Du coup, la carte n’est pas tentaculaire, mais affiche néanmoins une diversité et un degré d’élaboration très satisfaisants. Et de fait, les plats sont frais et bien maîtrisés. Enfin, le service peut se montrer rapide (déj’ pour 5 plié en une heure et demie) et légèrement un peu au dessus de la moyenne d’amabilité sur l’échelle parisienne.
En revanche, le profiterole (je dis bien «Le», car il s’agit d’un gros profiterole qui ressemble à un hamburger à la glacé) vendu comme le dessert de référence de l’établissement, né m’a pas convaincu. Si le serveur vous en fait des caisses à son sujet, sachez donc raison garder (et opter, peut-​être, plutôt pour le baba à la passion… (je regrette, ça se voit ?))

Pasco is the perfect place to grab lunch on your way to the eiffel tower! The food is incredibly fresh and I was really impressed by the service. AND they have English menus… wut wut?!

The food was delicious and the wait staff were extremely friendly. We had one of the best meals of our trip here. I had lamb with polenta. My girlfriend who is a vegetarian ordered assorted vegetables (which was off the menu). She absolutely loved them. They arrived in three separate bowls and were perfectly sautéed. Will definitely return to this place next time we are in Paris.

After doing intense research looking for a nice, but not too pricey restaurant near the Tour Eiffel, I found a mention of Pasco. Unfortunately, when we got there, they didn’t have a table outside, however after the owner saw our disappointment, made sure to give us a table as close to the outside as possible. Turns out, the space inside is incredibly welcoming and very well designed. The owner was very friendly, and literally explained every item on the menu. (we don’t speak French). The FOOD. Incredible. The best food that we had in Paris. French fused with spanish cuisine. Brilliant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited Invalides and stopped by this restaurant both years we visited Paris 2011 and 2012. It was that good! Excellent Prix Fixe lunch menu and pretty affordable. Upscale, quiet, not touristy with amazingly flavorful and unique dishes. Some of the waiters do not speak English well but there was always someone who could. An older gentlemen walked us through the menu and explained everything very politely. We were very curious about the «andouilette» (colon sausage) which we heard so much about and he delicately steered us away from it as it sounded like an acquired taste. Lunch here was not too crowded.
The atmosphere is polished, but not too stuffy. Service is wonderful. The food here is incredible. Fresh, delicately prepared, amazing depth of flavor. I had the most fabulous seafood risotto, chilled lentil soup and prawns here. Each dish is a sublime explosion of textures and flavors. I will never forget this place. It is definitely a foodie experience that you must try! I hope to visit again! Check out my photos for more details.

Everything we ordered was fantastic!

Accueil froid comme la nourriture d’ailleurs, le patron né pense qua une chose que laddition soit le plus élevé possible, les toilettes étaient sales, nous avons fait une drole de rencontre, une petite souris est passé devant ma femme, incroyable, pour le prix qui est demandé c’est tout simplement innaceptable, nous avons été décu, nous né le recommandons a personne, a fuir.

We attempted to come here one night on our visit to Paris and were turned away because we didn’t have reservations. As we were leaving, a couple dining inside overheard us and didn’t hesitate to tell us we should come back with reservations, because their meal was just that good. So, we took their advice and came back the next evening. Lesson learned: MAKE RESERVATIONS!
We certainly had an unforgettable meal at Pasco. The food was very tasty and well prepared. For starters, I ordered the eggplant, and my hubby ordered the melon salad. Both were probably the best starters we had on the entire trip. My eggplant was perfectly roasted and extremely flavorful. Don’t think I’ve ever had eggplant prepared better than that. My hubby’s salad was so refreshing. The dressing complimented and brought out the sweetness of the cantaloupe.
Our entrees were just as delicious. I had the braised duck with mashed potatoes. At first I was confused because all I saw was a mound full of mashed potatoes on my plate, but a HUGE serving of super tender duck was buried underneath. My hubby had a steak with roasted veggies. The meat was cooked perfectly and had a very flavorful sauce.
For dessert, we got the profiterole with hazelnut ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. Hands down, the best profiterole I’ve ever had. Definitely a must for dessert.
Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were actually pretty generous. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The service was very good and the overall atmosphere was nice. Highly recommended!

Tiens pas encore d’avis Unilocal en français… Vu le quartier il est vrai que ça né m’étonne pas beaucoup. Pourtant ce restaurant fut une bonne surprise.
Ici le ton est donné d’emblée, des plats d’influence méditerranéenne, et dès que l’on arrive dans ce très joli restaurant, on est immédiatement pris dans l’ambiance. C’est chaleureux, tout en restant calme et élégant (7ème arrondissement oblige !) bref on s’y sent bien. On voit que la clientèle est du quartier, j’y suis allée un dimanche midi donc c’était assez familial, la petite sortie avec les parents/​grands-​parents…
Et puis parfait pour se mettre dans l’ambiance (et toujours bon signe quant à la cuisine), nous nous sommes retrouvés à côté d’une famille italienne :)
Passons maintenant à la cuisine, je l’ai trouvée raffinée, savoureuse les quantités né sont pas énormes mais on se régale bien ! J’ai en revanche trouvé leur pain un peu dense, en plus ils avaient coupé des tranches très épaisses, mais c’est une question de goût…
Je vous conseille en apéritif de prendre leur cocktail maison dont je né me souviens plus de la composition exacte, mais c’était vraiment très bon.
29 euros pour un menu avec E/​P/​D, je trouve que c’est un bon rapport qualité/​prix.
Pour E+P /​P+D c’est 24 euros.
Il né me reste plus qu’à parler du service, aimable, discret et rapide !
Pour moi c’est donc un restaurant parfait pour un repas un peu tranquille avec de la famille.

A premier abord, la carte parait alléchante et originale avec des prix raisonnables (surtout pour le 7ème arrondissement). Mais dans un second temps, les plats (en tout cas, ceux que j’ai pris) manquent de saveur, de personnalité. C’est dommage car le cadre est agréable, lumineux et sobre avec un service impeccable. A essayer malgré tout!

Guter Service nur für Einheimische. Ansonsten wird ins Abseits gesetzt und was in Frankreich selbstverständlich ist mit Aufpreis und auf Anfrage gebracht.

j y suis allée apres avoir lu les precedents commentaires: aucune deception, le cadre est tres mignon, la cuisine de qualité, et avec un bon rapport qualité prix. je recommande!

Nous y sommes allé le dimanche pour déjeuner, bon accueil, table lumineuse, déco simple et chaleureuse, menus avec un bon rapport qualité/​prix et surtout du calme. Choix de vin intéressant et pas trop chère, possibilité de prendre un verre de vin. Cuisine traditionnelle, assez bien maîtrisée, avec quelques erreurs (texture et saveur) mais tout à fait appréciable dans l’ensemble, et ce, de l’entrée au dessert. A essayer.

After visiting Napoleon’s tomb, Musee de l’Armee, and discovering that two other museums we wanted to see were closed (it was Monday), we took a stroll in Les Invalides. Besides the fact that the buildings were superb, we decided to tuck into Pasco for a French meal.
I ordered the plat du jour, which was sweetbread with polenta and wild mushrooms. Now in Arabic cuisine, we’re accustomed to eating testicles, but the French version is definitely something else. Crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, well-​spiced and just delicious. I picked on my friends’ plates which were if I remember correctly: sea bass, lobster and beef medallions. All three were just as good, but I’m happy that I went with my plate. I washed it down with yummy raspberry sorbet, although it was something like 6 degrees (Celsius) outside!
The service is also good (remember that the French cook to order, so everything is slower than what you’re used to). But the waiter was super friendly, the place itself was very cool, and the restrooms (you must try to go into each restaurant’s restroom — they’re always creative and fun!) had these cool doors that make you pause before knowing which stall to get into.
Generally, I felt like I was paying 30 euros for a meal that tasted like it costs double that amount!

Un écrin de saveurs à deux pas des Invalides
Un menu à 26 € entrée plat dessert qui tient ses promesses. Une cuisine du Sud raffinée dans un cadre chaleureux, calme, et propice aux dîners en amoureux. Pierres apparentes, bois clair, on s’y sent vraiment bien. Le service est souriant et dévoué. La carte des vins bien pourvue. J’avais des appréhensions au vu du quartier, chic. Mais en fait le rapport qualité prix est vraiment excellent. A tenter absolument !! Mise à jour: nouveau chef, nouvelle carte, je suis beaucoup moins enthousiaste. Le service reste impeccable, mais dans l’assiette…bof bof

Belle adresse !
Un beau cadre méditerranéen, un accueil sympathique par l’un des «Pascal» une cuisine soignée, originale, de qualité. Dommage que la carte (y compris des vins) soit un peu limitée mais le rapport qualité prix mérite le détour.

Pas terrible !
Malgré les différentes critiques quasi positives aucune saveur sur les mets et donc très déçu ! Le mille feuille aubergine /​chèvre avec une très belle présentation mais fade en goût. Parmentier de canard, style hachis mais avec du canard laisse un peu sur la déception. L’entrecôte bonne et pommes sautées sans accommodement (ail herbes ?) un peu limite. Dessert Profiterolles et canelés très très moyens ! Une clientèle d’habitués, qui s’en servent comme cantine de luxe ! A éviter les tables de 2 en limite salle/​terrasse dehors sont vraiment aglutinées, pas même 30 cm de distance ! Patron plutôt sympa, toujours avec un petit mot et un zeste d’humour et personnel de salle assez jeune, mais efficace sf entrée.

Une fourchette de prix plus que convenable pour ce quartier (16 à 27EUR).

Voici un restaurant que j’affectionne tout particulièrement depuis des années tant pour son emplacement (juste en face du dôme des invalides) que pour sa cuisine et son rapport qualité/​prix.
Dernièrement, il a changé de chef et j’avoue avoir eu quelques appréhensions quand j’y suis retournée dernièrement.
Eh, bien j’y ai retrouvé le même plaisir gustatif qu’autrefois et me suis régalée d’un risotto aux champignons goûteux et parfumé à souhait. Les profiteroles façon Pasco, n’étaient pas mal non plus.
Mon seul regret le peu de choix proposé pour la formule qui se limite à: 3 entrées, 3 plats et 3 desserts !
Service en salle très souriant et aimable lors de mon passage de la part de la serveuse et temps d’attente plus que correct entre les plats malgré le monde.

Une adresse que j’ai deniché il y a qqs années déjà et à laquelle je reste fidèle.

Décor sympathique avec une salle présentant des voutes méditéranéennes, la carte est très (trop) limitée dans les choix. Le niveau est assez moyen avec des associations de saveurs pas toujours heureuses. Rapport qualité/​prix correct avec la formule à 31 euros. Je né pense pas revenir dans cet établissement sans relief culinaire particulier.

Bonne adresse
Un restaurant plaisant tant pour la courtoisie de son personnel que pour sa cuisine. Les prix sont plutôt prévenants pour la bourse et la déco sobre, se la joue esprit méditerranéen. On peut juste regretter le choix un peu restreint pour les menus (juste 3 pour les entrées, les plats ou les desserts).

Ecxellente adresse
Accueil très chaleureux, dans un cadre vraiment inhabituel: on se croirait très loin de Paris. La cuisine est délicieuse et les prix vraiment raisonnables. Possibilité de diner en coursive au premier étage avec un table d’une dizaine de personnes. Idéal pour un diner en tête à tête.

And when at Pasco that is exactly the feeling I get. I like the restaurant and the way it presents itself. In summer when the evenings are warm enough there is an outside terrace to sit on directly on the street, but still you feel you have enough privacy (it’s situated in the heart of the 7^th, so not that busy there anyways…). Inside they manage they create a cozy atmosphere which is extraordinary seeing that the decoration actually is not typically aimed at being cozy. My favourite place is the table on the right hand side immidiately when you come in (great when you’re with a party of 4), and when with a bigger group they have a really nice upstairs mezzanine. The food is quality, good wines and good meat (what more can a guy ask for), and for this quality you pay, but all things considered it’s a fair price.
