Plaza Gardens

Holy moly… we paid a hefty price for food and service that was worthy of maybe half the price. We walked in and they were very busy… lots of kids. The staff greeted us but then we waited a while for a seat. When we finally got our spot it was right next to the bathroom and the chairs were SO uncomfortable. They told us to leave our receipt on the table and the server would get our drinks. We did… I headed towards the bathroom… the strong stench of urine welcomed me at the door and the line of women waiting to use the bathroom was so unappealing that I didn’t even care to try to use the bathroom. We went to get our food. It was poorly supplied and they shut down HALF of the buffet mid-​lunch time… it was very confusing. They really didn’t have a great selection for the price of everything. We came back (expecting to see our drinks)…but nothing. About 20 minutes of waiting for our drinks I went to the front and asked when we would get our drinks. The guy came back with me to our table and tried to find our server — he couldn’t. 10 minutes later someone appeared and said they would get our drinks for us, so yes…30 minutes until we got our drinks. Once we got our drinks we asked for the second glass because I had no idea when they would be back to refill our glasses. Overall… not happy and left feeling unsatisfied. NOT the happy Disney experience we are typically used to.

This place doesn’t hold a candle to it’s US counterpart, Plaza Inn. First off, our server didn’t bring us our drinks until after we’d already eating our first plate; and we never received refills. The lines were long and even with reservations it took some time to get in the door. Come to think of it, we had to track down a server, not even ours, just to get cutlery. Just a terrible experience. But hey, it’s in Disneyland, so it gets an extra star.

Il est impératif de réserver sa table, soit en réservant votre séjour à Disneyland Paris, soit en arrivant au parc le matin-​même mais sans certitude qu’il reste de la place. Bön appétit!

Really nice place overall; the scenery of the building, inside and outside is very eyecatching, good variety of food, staff was nice and attentive to my table, and the food was at the right serving temperature.
Buffets are pretty simple, that being said, Adults pay 28 Euro each to eat here, so unless you’re dying of hunger, I’d avoid eating here. Also, make a reservation if you can, my wife and I waited about 10 minutes, in that time, at least 15 people went ahead of us. I wouldn’t mind coming here again, but that 28 Euro price tag for about 3 – 4 plates of food (if i even make it that far) will most likely dissuade me otherwise.

Je suis une habituée de ce restaurant ! à chaque visite de Disney on y mange, un buffet à volonté bien pratique, un flunch amélioré pour vous donner une idée de la qualité des produits. Le cadre est magnifique ! il y a souvent le queue et on nous annonce souvent de faux temps d’attente pour faire fuir les clients. (2h par exemple, alors qu’en 30 minutes on était passé)
Quand il y a un feu d’artifice le soir, il est très prisé, on a plus qu’à attendre au chaud que le spectacle commence.

Hier kann man schon Morgens einkehren für ein Frühstück und natürlich auch vom Mittag bis zum Abend durchgängig vom Buffet schlemmen.
Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist super! Man wird in die Jahrundertwende um 1900 zurückversetzt. Schöné Lampen, schwere Vorhänge, normal würde ich alles als kitischig bezeichnen, aber hier wirkt das wie eine Reise in eine andere Welt. Disney eben.
Zu den Hauptzeiten ist das Restaurant extrem voll. Reservieren über die Information oder in den Hotels ist schon ratsam.
Geht man auf gut Glück hin, kann es passieren, das man minimum 30 Minuten warten muss.
Das Buffet ohne Getränke kostet für Erwachsene 25,90 Euro, für Kinder 13,90 Euro. Nicht ganz preiswert.
Hat man Halbpension gebucht, bekommt man das Ganze etwas günstiger inklusive Softdrinks.
Stichwort Halbpension, diese sollte man grundsätzlich mitbuchen, wenn man in einem Disney-​Hotel wohnt. Das rechnet sich unterm Strich schon sehr, gerade für Familien.
Bei meinem ersten Besuch vor ein paar Jahren habe ich das Buffet im Plaza Gardens als besser empfunden. Damals variierte jeden Tag das Angebot.
Dies hat sich scheinbar geändert. Ich war an zwei Tagen hintereinander da, da ein anderes Restaurant zu voll war und war wirklich enttäuscht. An den darauffolgenden Tagen gab es das komplett identische Buffet. Abwechslung Fehlanzeige.
Ansich war das Buffet reichhaltig. Es gab diverse warme und kalte Speisen. Rindfleisch-​Spieße, Fisch, diverse Pasta-​Variationen, Muscheln, Schnecken (die Franzosen lieben ja sowas), Kassler, Pommes Frites und vieles mehr.
Die Salat– und Käse-​Auswahl ist gross und auch der Nachtisch kann sich sehen lassen. Für die Kleinen gibt es noch Fruchtzwerge und Smarties.
Alles lecker, aber eben nicht an zwei aufeinaderfolgenden Tagen. Sehr schade.
Beim Essverhalten anderer Kulturen kann man hier wirklich Studien treiben. Manchmal leider nicht immer im positiven Sinn.
Grundsätzlich würde ich 4 Sterne geben, aber da die Variationsmöglichkeiten bei einem viermaligen Besuch wirklich dezent ausfielen, bleibe ich bei 3 Sternen.

La déco est super classe. On se croirait dans un restaurant chic. En fait c’est un self-​service à volonté. La nourriture n’est pas trop mal et il y a quand-​même un minimum de choix. Les serveurs sont aimables et disponibles, le tout à un prix abordable (autour de 20EUR/​adulte). Bilan très positif.
