Ok — this place is a great find. Tucked away in the closed portion of the Marché d’Aligre — which is called the Marché Beauvau and serves as the anchor for the more temporal street market — and they offer a wonderful selection of goodies. First and foremost, they sell great beer — and for the cheapest prices in Paris. They don’t have the selection that some other specialty beer places might have but what they do have is good and the prices are amazing — like 1 – 2 euros for a bottle of Beligan Trappist ale(they have all of the Trappists — plus your more commercial classics like La Chouff and Saison Dupont, etc.). Plus sometimes they get in Cantillon… You also have to pay a deposit on the bottles — but they are still cheaper than any where else even with the deposit. Also, they have amazing tapenade(olive pâté). If you like cilantro(coriandre) I recommend that one, but they are all good. And the olives are yummy too. Plus, again a great price — 3 – 4 euros for 100 grams. Then they also have fresh cream, eggs, and of course… CHEESE! Their cheese prices are maybe not as good as their beer prices but I will keep coming back just fo the tapenade and beer: D
