Lovely décor, solid selection of food and charming staff. I enjoyed my meal here (I had what was marked as «Le classique» which is a set menu of steak frites + appetizer or dessert) and would come back if I ever have a craving for steak frites. The waiter (?) /​owner (?) also asked us first if we wanted ketchup to go with the fries, which was nice (I can’t tell you how many times I got raised eyebrows, rolled eyes, an offended look or anything in between whenever I asked for ketchup at other restaurants).
My only issue is that while the food is good, it is still just steak frites… And their choices of the menu are rather limited. Nothing fancy shmancy about the food here. So go here if you really want steak frites and some simple dessert (like a soft chocolate cake or a chocolate chip cookie… I thought the cookie was both cute and funny– everything about this place is sort of like a «tourist’s dream version of Paris» with its Art Deco interior, no nonsense traditional fare of food items, and a charming French man bringing you your food… Then you get a chocolate chip cookie –perhaps one of the most American snacks– for dessert :) The cookie was good though!)

Go! And order the steak frittes. Your mind will be blown and this will stand as a highlight of your trip.

Mais les panais n’étaient pas cuits dans le mélange de légumes d’automne…
Mais en guise de dessert né restait que le yaourt à 9 €…
Et sans geste commercial au final, je suis déçue.

Steak and Frites. People… that is all you need to know. Go by train, plane or automobile (well…you can walk too) and get into this little spot for a life altering experience. Yea, I cook steak at home and I could make some fries with it, but it’s not this. Medium rare was cooked to perfection and the flavor of the steak was something I never experienced before. We grabbed some wine and dined at the bar which I found to be more fun as we conversed with the bartender that night (I think he is the owner too). Fun fact… they never meant the steak frites to be a permanent option on the menu but it will always be there.

simply perfect. Just the right amount of ambiance. we ate at the bar which gave us a chance to chat with owner. Charming young guy that runs place with his wife. We had the Steak Frites and it was perfect… The marinate of meat and grilling just right. lovely cote de rhone to go with. Unpretensious. Cant wait to return

Very cute little French bistro known for it’s Steak Frites. The Steak Frites did not disappoint, but I felt the star was the pan seared duck that we also ordered. The duck was so juicy and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend this place!
Service was quick and friendly. English was no issue.

Fantastic restaurant on the right bank, beautiful setting and fantastic food. The wine list has some very good selections to suit every taste or budget. The specialty of the house is steak and fries, like every other restaurant in Paris. But this steak really was special, marinated to perfection and cooked the way you like it! Very lean and a large portion simply fantastic!

Definitely the best restaurant in Paris!
Everything is delicious. I wish they had more vegetarian options though.

Une super adresse !
Rien que le nom est déjà sympathique. On né s’attend pas à découvrir un espace complètement art déco avec de grands miroirs. Les murs sont recouverts de carreaux.
On a commencé avec un cocktail très original: gin, concombre, oeuf, citron vert. Super bon !
On a tous pris le magret de canard /​Foie gras/​PDT rattes/​Sauce vin rouge, c’était super bon ! Mais pas très copieux … On a pris des planches de fromage après !
Le magret est cher mais il y a aussi un risotto beaucoup plus abordable à la carte.

Dîner vendredi soir avec quelques amis: nous partons à l’aventure dans le quartier et tombons sur cette magnifique salle bien visible depuis la rue. Les faiences murales sont superbes et donnent tout le cachet à l’endroit. Pour le reste la déco entièrement refaite est soignée et moderne, et la lumière tamisée.
Les plats servis sont excellents (mon gigot était vraiment parfait) et les vins abordables. Mention spéciale pour la bouteille de Ruinart abordable si on veut se faire plaisir.
J’y retournerai sans modération et je me le recommande donc à moi-​même !

Testé un dimanche midi, c’est bien simple, j’ai tout aimé: la déco style art nouveau, l’accueil a-​do-​rable, et bien entendu la cuisine, tout est frais et de saison. Mention spéciale pour la crème brûlée au chocolat qui était fine, onctueuse et veloutée, j’en ai encore l’eau à la bouche !
Hâte de tester les menus du soir, lors d’une prochaine excursion parisienne.

Dans un décor de carreaux anciens de la vieille epoque des Halles, un nouveau bistrot avec un grand comptoir en zinc où sont deja assis les habitués de cet endroit que l’on aimerait transformer en notre cantine. Le menu du marché aux plats chaleureux reinventés par un chef new-​yorkais est plein de saveurs. L’ambiance est là et le service souriant aussi. Les plats sont fameux, le risotto fondant à souhait, l’onglet tendre et coupé comme il faut, les desserts aux gouts d’enfance sont juste parfaits.
