Have a store in Paris with some fashionable French people running around inside and I’m an instant fan. It’s sad, it’s pitiful, but true. Thankfully, I won’t be moving to France anytime soon and the flight is too costly to visit if only to shop. My wallet is so grateful.
The difference between Sephora in France and Sephora in Chicago/​Chicagoland is huge. For variety, quality and fabulous samples, you’ve got to go to Paris. Buy a tube of YSL gloss, and they give you a nice size YSL gloss in a brand spanking new color they haven’t quite promoted. Samples at Sephora Paris today are the generous size I remember my mom getting when I was like 4. Her sample bag was almost as big as the full size cosmetic items she was buying. A field day for a 4 year old or the 24 year old.

Really lovely branch of the cosmetics chain. Has a great selection of products, including their excellent own brand range. Be prepared to spend loads as it is all so enticing! The staff are great and really friendly.
