C’est beau, très beau, c’est privé, c’est branché, c’est hipster et c’est cher, très cher ! Programmation variée et éclectique, ça vaut le coup de visiter le lieu au moins une fois !

Es ist ein typischer hot spot während Fashion Week aber die Cocktails sind dort super teuer and die Türsteher sind echt nicht nett. Ich war mehrmals drin, weil es ziemlich original ist und segr angenehm.

Un club très chic et très select. Du bon son, mais parfois un peu trop fort. Le décor en met plein la vue. A voir au moins une fois.

Really nice bar/​club/​lounge. Décor is just stunning, music is great and I really like their drinks! Awesome mixology… they prepare your drinks with so much attention to detail and fresh ingredients… I felt like I must sip my drinks very slowly as it took so much effort to make them Lol. Great place!

Bön, euh, comment dire… le Silencio c’est plus un mini club faiblement éclairé avec de jolies oeuvres d’art et décorations qu’une boîte branchée.
On a l’impression d’entrer dans la maison d’un designer, avec antichambre, salle de ciné, fumoir, la salle de bain, la piste de dance, le bar… et ce n’est pas très grand.
Le DJ… bof. C’est plutôt ambiance année 80, en tout cas avant 1 heure du matin.
La fréquentation, oui comme dans les avis précédents je n’ai pas vu d’osmose mais des groupes de hipsters ou professionnel. C’est assez étrange.
Les prix des cocktails ou bouteilles sont excessifs. Cependant les cocktails sont bons et originaux.
Bref c’est un club privé avec une ambiance bizarre, une seule fois m’aura suffit.

Ok, probably the worst experience I had.
First of all do not believe in any emails that they send you claiming that the club is open for non members after midnight, don’t waste your time, many members here were turned down after they received same email I did.
And here’s what they are going to tell you: «it’s a misunderstanding, and we will fix that» well based on the other member who was in the same case you will understand that this misunderstanding been going on for a while. Basically they tell everyone that, and they chose who they want to let in.
I was not only turned down but called names by the bouncer, and decided to just leave without getting humiliated any further.
I wonder how Mr. David Lynch associates himself with this type of a place, he is bright and have clean name, specifically after I’ve been in his lectures on TM, I am very disappointed
So on the nutshell, do not expect to be treated with an ounce of respect if you are not a member, you will be humiliated and sent back home like a nobody. I rather keep my dignity in my posture and get into an Irish place and have a blast.

It’s been a while since I’ve put on my dancing shoes, and there’s no better place to get back into the groove than a place like Silencio — dark, mysterious, and oh so chic. I knew we were in for a memorable night as we descended down into David Lynch’s lair.
Like the elusive and often daring film auteur, Silencio feels «different» from regular clubs in the states and feels like you’re a part of a secret society. The vibe may be a little too cool and exclusive, but once the dance floor starts filling up around 2am, all pretensions and attitudes disappear as American pop and hip-​hop stars like Beyonce and Drake dominate.

There’s nothing more exhilarating than dancing the night away in Paris.

Silencio is a great experience. Visually and acoustically amazing. The walls are designed like the walls of a high end recording studio and it is very obvious in the sound quality. This place sounds very good and the music choices are excellent and fit the theme of this very unique space. I really like Silencio. The staff are incredibly courteous and well mannered and the bartenders are true artists. Watching them make drinks is like watching a beverage ballet before you eyes. I’m not a smoker, but if you smoke they have a special smoking room with what looks like artificial vines coming down through the space that hold small tables with ashtrays and places for your drinks. If you don’t there are several areas that will appeal to you. I went the first night with two friends from Paris and we had a wonderful time. You have to realize that in Paris clubs don’t get going until around 11:30pm and last for quite a while after that. We stayed until 5am and Silencio was still going when we left. Went back the second night, this time on my own, and Silencio was just as special. The crowd is eclectic and amazingly creative, yet you feel right at home instantly. Silencio is a magical place that is not to be missed.
PS: Silencio is a private club and does require a membership to enter or you have to be the guest of a member. The negative reviews here were mostly posted by folks that don’t agree with this so they have never been inside and don’t really know what it’s like. Don’t be dissuaded as Silencio is a place like no other.

Alors… Je me dois de mettre 4 étoiles, rien que pour le lieu. C’est beau, élégant, bien pensé, conceptuel. Il y a une vraiment démarche dans la conception du lieu que je suis obligée de saluer !
La clientèle peut rapidement mettre mal à l’aise: des jeunes hipsters ou pro. de la com. slash pub., comme dit Elodie dans son avis, on né se pas trop ou se placer.
Question prix, je né saurais vous dire. Mais une chose est sûre, ça né doit pas être gratuit.
Pour finir, un gros malus pour le staff aux vestiaires: 30 min pour récupérer manteaux et sacs avec 4 personnes devant moi. Mon sac n’était pas au même endroit que mon manteau ! Ça rassure…

Le lieu n est pas si magnifique que ça, même si il est agréable mais je né vois pas passer mon après-​midi la bas.
L endroit est sélect car il faut avoir la carte mais le public est mixte.
On y va surtout pour leur délicieux cocktail certes a 18 € !! Et pour les concert ou la salle de ciné, c est comme a la maison mais en mieux.

Y a des endroits comme ça qui vendent du rêve car inaccessible.
En effet, le silencio est réservé aux membres qui ont une carte (900e l’année minimum) ou les gens qui connaissent des gens qui ont une carte.
La déco est top, après être descendu très profondément, on se retrouve dans un méandres de petites salles qui font «petits salons» où l’on peut discuter mais aussi profiter du son.
Tout au fond, une grande salle avec piste de danse.
Dans plusieurs salles on retrouve des mini bars à cocktails dont la qualité est très élevée.
La population est variée (très pointue avec des mitaines Chanel ou très Hipster avec un pull et une barbe) mais n’a pas vraiment de problèmes d’argent.
Enfin, au moment où j’y étais, la programmation musicale était variée mais excessivement bien choisie.
Malgré tout cela (que des bonnes choses) on né comprends pas vraiment l’intérêt de la carte (qui n’offre que le vestiaire et la participation à quelques représen dans la salle de cinéma privé) et on trouve ça hors de prix.
Bön plan: avoir un pote ayant la carte.

Update au vue de l’excellente soirée de vendredi, qui rattrape un peu mon précédent avis, peut être un peu trop dur.
Le Silencio, c’est le club «hype» par excellence. Sur le modèle de la SoHo House, l’entrée est censée être réservée à des membres, qui payent presque mille euros par an pour avoir le droit de se pointer avant minuit, d’être invité à trois évènements par mois, et à quelques projections cinématographiques, dans cet espace en sous-​sol dessiné en rêve par David Lynch.
Pour les simples mortels, l’entrée après minuit est possible et relativement sélective, donc la population est à la fois chic, cool et branchée (des membres, des non membres filles très jolies ou mecs un peu friqués, mais aussi des artistes, ceux qui viennent de la mode ou du cinéma ou de la télé, et quelques avocats). Problème de célébrité ou bien effet de mode, le Silencio est passé en un ou deux ans d’endroit génial où l’entrée était difficile mais une fois à l’intérieur les gens né se posaient pas de question, à un repaire de modeux snob. Froids, distants, la plupart né reste qu’entre eux. Ceux qui né veulent surtout pas parler à quelqu’un de nouveau, tout en regardant Alexander Wang bourré dans un coin, apprécieront.
A part çà la musique est bonne, surtout avec Eric le DJ aux platines, dansante, globalement electro cool et un peu funk voire rock’n’roll sur la fin de soirée. Les cocktails eux sont délicieux. Demander aux barmen de concocter quelque chose de leur cru, ils adorent ça ! (mais faire attention à l’envie de certains d’y mettre du parfum!!)
Venir pour voir et être vu, ou au contraire passer une soirée entre amis, mais sans vouloir rencontrer qui que ce soit. Connaitre, mais pas rencontrer, on est pas là pour ça.

You either like it, or you don’t!
Personally I think this place is probably the place where I want to be when I go out at night in Paris.
Beyond the tasteful beauty of the place, what unlocks the perfect experience is this carefully put together melody that plays throughout the night.
During my night there, I really felt welcome. A bit like when I party in NYC, L. A, Miami or Chicago… I felt home, welcomed, and didn’t get the impression people where posing, or looking (staring) at each other all night long like people do in many of Paris’ nightclubs.
Our proudly self designation of «I am Parisian, I like Rien» (read: nothing for rien) doesn’t apply in here.
People seem to come here to truly party; respectfully and positively melting within the crowed ends up being everyone’s attitude towards a globally shared and successful evening.
The staff is very polite, nice and respectful; that is truly appreciable even if you are naturally entitled to expect nothing less from such place.
Basically, I had an amazing time; not to be ignored, I was indeed spending the evening with great friends of mine, and that helps succeeding at enjoying the evening.

The best club in Paris. Done. It’s never over packed, thanks to Vasili, the most totes amaze doorman in Paris. He knows how to run the door so that you don’t have to interact with lame tourists or Parisian posers once inside. For all the Unilocal reviewers criticizing this place because you didn’t make it past the velvet ropes, maybe you should be criticizing your own body mass index or your Tory Burch flats/​Aldo heels. You have to look tres chic (i.e. think kate moss) if you want to walk down that black, shiny staircase.
Once inside, make sure that you order a cocktail from Rob. Order from the menu, or let Rob assess your mood and mix up something unique for you, but whatever you do, DON’T order a hendrick’s and tonic with a cucumber. It’s a weird thing to order when you have Paris’s best mixologist preparing your drinks. Side note, I feel so nostalgic every time Rob makes me a personalized cocktail — takes me back to my Bar Hemingway days when I sort of considered Colin my psuedo therapist considering how much time he spent preparing me unique drinks to complement my moods.
While I could go on forever about how I adore this place from everything to the stairwells, to the drinks, to the bathroom sink, to the smoking room, to the people, I shall keep the silence. J t’adore, Silencio. xx

I’ve put pen to paper and entertained, educated and helped tens of thousands with words, books, music, and video. I’ve been given national awards for inventions and creativity. My dress garners compliments, my attitude at your door is very polite. And yet despite my creativity you do not let me into your club.

You say you want creativity. You say your club is open to non-​members after midnight. I look forward to visiting your club for a month, and on the night of the occasion I dress appropriately and make the pilgrimage. I politely inquire if you can accommodate one person. I am given a quick glance and a quick answer, «No.»

It actually makes me lose respect for David Lynch to know that he supports this kind of elitism.
My husband and I planned a trip to Paris several months in advance and visiting Club Silencio was on the top of my list of things to do. You can imagine our disappointment when we showed up on a Saturday evening (10 minutes before midnight), with absolutely no line whatsoever only to be told by the bouncer that the club is «members only». No sooner did I reply «it isn’t members only after midnight» than the bouncer literally turned his back to us so that he no longer had to communicate. The gesture was as if to say we weren’t even worthy of an explanation. I inquired before the trip with the owners of club Silencio, and they assured me the club is open to the public (not just members) after midnight.
I so had my heart set on visiting this place that I ended up crying on the way back to our airbnb :(Call me bitter, but why weren’t we let in? I’ve heard you must be «worldly» (I’m American, my husband is English and we’re both very well-​travelled) and fashionable (I know who Camille Bidault Waddington is and I wore an amazing vintage dress I bought in Paris that day!), and work in an artistic field (I work on film sets, my husband is a writer) so what gives? We are in our 20s, we were cordial, well dressed, and polite. Was it because we weren’t oozing wealth?
Needless to say I’m entirely over it and all that it stands for. To say that this place wants to attract artists is a joke, it just wants the rich.

Way over-​rated: basically your typical scene of young girls wanting to be coked up and the men prepared to pay for that… Doesn’t do Lynch’s work justice.

Mais pourquoi va-​t-​on au Silencio? La 1ère fois, c’était lors de la semaine d’ouverture. Le monde de la prod cinéma se bousculait, on buvait du Champagne, on se souriait et on avait des étoiles dans les yeux, ravi d’avoir été convié pour découvrir, après avoir descendu un mystérieux escalier noir d’une cinquantaine de marches aux angles tachés de lumière, la voute imbriquée de cubes de bois doré à la feuille d’or, le couloir chatoyant d’or (où la tradition veut désormais que les gens se prennent en photo et la publient ensuite pour dire «j’y étais «, clin d’œil entendu aux initiés), la salle de ciné confortable, avec sa trentaine de places et ses jolies lampes, les bars, la salle où osciller sur de la musique exigeante, avec un effet d’optique qui mérite d’être souligné: la scèné paraît fort éloignée et les gens qui y dansent plus petits, petite distanciation bien vue face aux gens qui font leur cinéma… On soulignera également la «bibliothèque «où de beaux ouvrages (trop peu nombreux) sont entassés sous la voute à carrés de bois dorés, entre les banquettes rouges et les tables basses: en réalité, espace à mondanités et caution intellectuelle. Enfin, un effort particulier a été accordé au fumoir, agréable, qui, derrière une porte de verre laisse apparaître les branches d’arbre sec qui s’entrelacent pour soutenir les cendriers, enfermés entre des murs laqués de noir. On a l’impression de se cacher dans un petit bois.
Et puis, un an plus tard on y revient. Alors ça donne quoi? Cette fois-​ci, on est invité pour quelque chose qui nous ressemble, parce qu’on est membre d’une petite société raffinée qui a décidé de nous inviter (cinéma, critique culinaire, club de jeunes acheteurs d’art contemporain.). Et là tout s’explique: dis-​moi pourquoi tu vas au Silencio, je te dirai si c’est bien. Car il y a 2 Silencio: en début de soirée, on est invité pour une bonne raison ou on est encarté et l’on vient se faire un film ou boire un verre avec d’autres encartés, au calme, dans le beau et le confidentiel. Puis vient la 2e partie de soirée. On sort de la salle de ciné et l’on découvre que «ça s’est rempli «, si l’on est bien looké en effet, on peut rentrer. La musique est alors festive et il y a toujours des gens pour danser même s’ils né sont que deux. On commande des cocktails. Ils sont créatifs, parfaitement dans le goût du jour (on retrouve absinthe et basilic, les produits stars depuis quelques mois, ainsi que le Gin qui fait son grand retour), réalisés avec précision par des barmen pro, attentionnés, et souriants qui contribuent à faire de ce lieux tout sauf un lieu guindé. Par moment, on se dit que c’est le Paris Paris de nos jeunes années folles qui a grandi. Les cocktails à 16 € en plus. De toute façon c’est bien simple, rien à moins de 15 € au bar. Mais le champagne est bien sélectionné (Pol Roger en ticket d’entrée) et les cocktails tiennent la route (y compris en teneur d’alcool), bons, subtils et originaux mais pas extrêmement fous non plus.
En somme, le Silencio est un droit où il est bon de mettre les escarpins de temps en temps, pour se sentir un peu privilégié et au contact d’une certaine forme de beauté (Lynch a vraiment livré un espace envoûtant) mais où l’on n’irait pas forcément pour y passer la plus folle des soirées.

Definitely one of the best places to open in Paris in a LONG time.
Cool staff, great program from tastings and concerts in the main space to films in a small screening room with table service before the film starts.
Super stylish décor and cocktails shaken, stirred and poured to perfection.

Quite simply the best way to spend our last night in Paris, it was magical (without sounding too cheesy).
Once you get in (after midnight and initial banter with the bouncer) — it’s a beautiful experience, with painstaking attention to every detail — from the furniture to choice of books, to the lighting (make sure to look at your pupils in the bathroom mirror). Lynch’s design fingerprint is apparent everywhere you look.
The signature cocktails are pricey but a work of art, each drink takes several minutes to create — consisting of many unique ingredients (so don’t order a vodka soda — you’ll miss out on one of the best parts of Silencio). There’s a club in Chicago, called the Violet Hour, which is a similar experience, but both have unique differentiation.
It’s a modern day speak easy, and we were really happy to be able to be a part of it.

Understandably the hottest club in Paris as we speak, could change tomorrow :) It’s a David Lynch beaut complete with gleaming golden walls, forest inspired smoking room and cave like dance floor, snobby people in overly fitted suits and gals who haven’t seen a meal in years.
It will make you feel special for a few, if you are so inclined and perhaps not footing the bill. 20 euros a pop does sting a tad bit.
Exclusive and members only before midnight, so get your wink on or come unmanly accompanied.
A guilty pleasure I dare not deny.

Si vous passez la porte, c’est déjà un miracle en soi :-), puisque ce club sélecte est en priorité réservé aux membres qui paie un abonnement mensuel. L’intérieur est superbe (le décor a été conçu par David Lynch rien de moins) ! fumoir à disposition, bar à cocktails très bons mais pas donnés: entre 16 et 20 euros. Musique house, électro ou années 80, en fonction du DJ. Un bon moment dans cet endroit petit mais bien aménagé !

Maintenant que j’y suis allée en soirée je peux le dire: l’endroit est bien mais les cocktails au final un peu prétentieux pour le prix, et la clientèle mooouuuuuuuais BOF. C’est un mix entre jeune beaux du 16e travaillant à la «TV» un peu ambiance Delarue et personnages plus hauts en couleurs et subversifs. La rencontre des deux donne quelque chose d’un brin «awkward», mais mieux que dans un club classique. On né sait pas trop où se placer. J’étais ainsi entre un groupe de personnes assez Queer dans leur style, coupes de cheveux bleues et grosses lunettes, et un groupe de nanas sorties tout droit de sex and the city donnant des coups de bassin à des gars gominés assis comme des pachas. Paillettes et mauvais gout bonjour, tout droit sorties d’un mauvais clip de rap.
Dans l’ensemble c’est très happy few, mais pas forcément les même happy few: la creative class d’un côté (qui n’a pas forcément la thune), ceux qui ont la thune de l’autre (mais pas forcément la classe). La cohabitation des deux n’est pas encore très…au point. Mais ça reste franchement un très bel endroit et la musique est toujours hyper bien.

As I descended the dark stairwell, down, down, down beneath the city street toward the lower level entrance door, I felt myself falling hook, line and sinker for this mysterious member’s club designed by David Lynch.
What did me in? It was so simple and yet so surreal– the silence that surrounded me as I walked down the stairs, as if I was traveling through a tunnel with just the faint echo of my breath accompanying me. I mean, what a way to enter a club! No shoving, no music, no distraction, just me having this intense experience because of the total silence of the space.
I definitely felt like I was being filmed and that at some point in the evening my image would be projected as part of a film-​within-​a-​film not unlike that creepy scene in Lost Highway when Bill Pullman watched that video of himself doing things that he had no recollection ever doing.
No doubt about it, Silencio is a true Lynch masterpiece.
I was invited to a b-​day dinner by a club member on a Sunday night for cocktails, nibbles and piano music and we almost had the place to ourselves. It was amazing being able to run around and explore the various rooms of the club (cinema, fumoir, reading room, bathroom, theater) without having anyone around. It felt like the place was all for us! Apparently that’s how members are supposed to feel, like this space is their plush, luxurious, slightly surreal home away from home.
For something like 65E a month per couple, it actually seems like a sweet deal, especially since you can attend free concerts, films, and dj sets, while kicking back some of the best cocktails in Paris in hands-​down one of the most comfortable, original clubs in the world.

Minuit. Vendredi Soir. On rentre sans problèmes. On emprunte ce grand escalier tel un escalier qui descend vers une salle de cinéma. Une porte telle celle d’une salle de cinéma, et on entre dans ce lieu complètement inattendu. 2 petits salons pour papoter, bouquiner, boire un verre. Là on se croit dans un lieu d’hotel au bout du monde. C’est chaleureux et très agréable en plein hiver. Un bar très sympa, des cocktails à tomber. Le son est bon. C’est sans trop de prétentions. L’espace est étonnant: bien que le lieu soit petit, on a du mal à voir le bout de la pièce. On y rencontre des créatures. Bref çà m’a beaucoup intrigué, j’ai adoré.

J’adore David Lynch et j’aime les bons clubs avec des gens intéressants. Le design du seul et unique Lynch Club (le nom ‘Silencio’ vient de son film Mulholland Drive, le club où Rebecca del Rio chante la version espagnole de ‘Crying’) est soigné jusqu’au moindre détail pour dégager une ambiance particulièrement mystérieuse et on peut aller dans un coin pour bavarder tranquillement ou danser sur la piste des mirroirs brisés où la musique est pleine de trouvailles bizarres du DJ qui fait des sauts dans le temps et dégage un air intemporel. Où d’autre à Paris pourrait-​on boire un Blue Velvet en bouquinant Kafka? Si j’étais abonné je n’irai nulle part ailleurs…

After spending the afternoon in the fantastically weird world of Diane Arbus at the major retrospective exhibit at Jeu de Paume (totally recommend), it only made sense to spend the night in the strange and surreal world of David Lynch — but how?
I knew one thing about the club, and that was that it was members only but granted non-​members entrance after midnight. The rest was a mystery, including whether there was a cover charge, or a dress code, or how many non-​members would actually get in on a Saturday night. After searching online and reading several articles about the design, décor and live acts (which i won’t go into here because it is covered so extensively by media) we decided to just arrive at midnight and see what happened.
I am by no means a club person, let alone a «behind the velvet rope» person, so I was slightly caught off guard by the doorman, who, right as we walked up, stepped outside and told the 8 or so people standing out front that he was very sorry and just doing his job (I assumed we caught the tail end of the news that he wasn’t letting anyone else in). Then he noticed my husband and I were new arrivals (it was about 12:30a) and asked where we were from (London, U.S.) and what we did (designer, writer) — and then nodded and let us in. (I was so caught off guard by even being asked and the implications of our answers that I just blurted mine out.) A very unhappy woman retorted at this «Oh, seriously? My ex-​husband is creative director for Dior, is that what matters?»
Whoa. What in the hell kind of world were we stepping in to? I knew this club would probably be overpriced and pretentious, but the door man’s questions and the woman’s reactions really blew my mind. But we didn’t question it and wandered inside, down the dim spiral steps, checked our coats (€ 2 charge) and got some drinks (€ 28 for two vodka/​soda waters).
From what I read, I expected it to be bigger. The «black forest room» was really more of a nook, and the «theatre» was a room just off the bar area, with a step down to small stage (and doubled as a dance floor when the plastic chairs were cleared). We just missed the live act for the night (a magician). There was plenty of diverse seating (not much of it open at the time we arrived) and it was well placed, offering views of comings and goings, the bar, and in areas that were more private. The DJ offered everything from Lykke Li (who apparently had her own show there earlier in the week) to Missy Elliott.
The atmosphere was upbeat and the crowd was a mix of sophisticates, art elite, club kids and people who looked like they wandered in after work at their office jobs. As a non-​regular (and a very regular looking person) I found no discrimination from bartenders in drink ordering, to my surprise.
All in all it was an awesome experience. I can’t imagine finding myself there regularly (if I lived in Paris, that is), but as a Lynch fan and for a special occasion I found it to be a fantastic little foray into a bizarre little underworld.
Note: We tried for about an hour to get a taxi outside the club (and for a quarter mile in every direction) to no avail and had to walk back to our hotel about 2 miles away). Have the coat check person call you one!

J’ai longuement hésité entre 3 et 4 étoiles pour noter cet endroit. Je pense qu’en fait le Silencio mériterait d’être noté 3.5, entre le «pas mal» et «yeah je suis fan»!
Ce nouveau club parisien qui a ouvert ses portes à coté du Social Club début Octobre 2011 est uniquement ouvert aux membres jusqu’à minuit. Pour devenir membre il vous faudra candidater (oui comme pour un job!) en envoyant votre CV. Si celui-​ci est retenu il vous faudra ensuite débourser 65 euros par mois (!) afin de pouvoir profiter des shows cases, des projections de films ou tout autre événement artistique réservé aux membres.
A partir de minuit et jusqu’à 6h du matin, le club est ouvert à tous. Je m’y suis rendue un lundi soir de veille de jour férié. Nous étions 4 et sommes arrivés vers minuit et demi et n’avons eu aucun mal pour rentrer.
Une fois passée la porte d’entrée, il vous faudra emprunter un impressionnant escalier afin d’accéder au club qui se situe en sous-​sol.
Puis, vous arrivez dans lieu unique, comme je n’en ai encore jamais vu à Paris! Le Silencio s’étend sur 700 m avec une architecture labyrinthique complètement atypique. J’ai adoré le plafond et les murs constellés de carrés de bois recouverts de feuilles d’or qui s’imbriquent.
J’ai eu l’impression que le temps s’était arrêté et que nous avions été projeté dans une autre dimension, aussi bien en raison du décor totalement hors normes, de la clientèle aussi atypique que l’endroit et de la musique complètement décalée qui passé de Heart of Glass de Blondie à The Bay de Metronomy!
Les prix des cocktails sont élevés: entre 14 et 18 euros (mais l’entrée est gratuite!). Ils sont vraiment originaux mais très (trop) chargés à mon goût! C’est pourquoi je vous conseille de demander un verre d’eau (servi avec une rondelle de concombre!) avec votre cocktail!
Bref, l’endroit vaut vraiment le détour et j’y retournerai certainement. Reste à voir si le Silencio est «the place to be» du moment ou si le concept de l’endroit va réussir à perdurer dans le temps!

Probablement l’endroit le plus hype de Paris en ce moment.
Ca fait quelques semaines que tout le monde en parle; poussé par la curiosité, j’y suis allé avec 5 amis vendredi soir. A notre surprise nous n’avons pas eu de problème pour rentrer.
Les plus:
— la déco (j’ai particulièrement aimé la pièce «forêt» très sombre avec des petits leds enroulés autout de «troncs» en bois clair)
— la musique (totalement décalée, on passé des Stones à Metronomy en passant par la disco des années 80)
— les cocktails: né prenez pas les cocktails classiques ! regardez la carte. Un excellent «Amber»: un mint julep revisité avec notamment une touché de miel d’acacia. (environ 15 €)
— le service attentionné !
Les moins: les gens. Tout le monde essaye de se montrer … mais en bonne compagnie on peut assez facilement en faire abstraction

Très bel endroit ! Mais tout n’est pas au point: le serveur met les doigts dans votre cocktail, sous vos yeux, pour y mettre la décoration ! Ca né s’invente pas. En principe, on utilise une pince, surtout quand on vient de rendre la monnaie à un autre client. Mais peut-​être ce serveur était-​il stagiaire à la photocopieuse, et qu’ils l’ont mis là en remplacement?
