This Simply Market is one of a kind. You can tell they have a halfway house hiring program because all the cashiers and 50% of the customers I see when I go there look cracked out. Kudos for supporting the community.
Selection is good. Definitely a higher than normal ratio of magnum wine bottles to regular wine bottles compared to other joints. I am all about buying more to save more. The food selection isn’t bad either.
World food section is impressive. They have you covered with each major ethnic group: italian, chinese, mexican and british. No lie, this is good for Paris.
But does it really matter? We all, the mighty and the humble, are slowly slouching toward death in this 45 minute cashier line. #big picture

Bien, grand, discret, le Simply est un bon supermarché pour faire ses courses.
Surtout et au contraire du Casino et du Monoprix, il vend des super griffoirs pour chats, parfumés à l’herbe à chat.
Je dis ça à tout hasard pour ceux qui errent dans le quartier sans pouvoir mettre la main sur ces choses-​là, alors que pourtant ce n’est pas une denrée rare. Donc à bon entendeur salut.
Laissez tomber les épiceries, les bazars et les franprix, casino et autres G20: j’ai tout fait dans le quartier et seul Simply en vend.
