Nice space, very Brooklyn — inspired. The servers are nice. The food however is disappointing. I had a club sandwich and the potatoes that came with it were ice cold and undercooked. Small portions overall. I haven’t tried the muffin, but at 4 € for the size of a wine cork, I sure hope it’s good !

This café is really trying… they have fresh juice, there’s wifi, it’s cozy and comfortable, and usually the music is pleasant — depending on who’s working the counter… However, they don’t have any non-dairy milks, and their tea selection is paltry and unacceptable.(For example, if you want a green tea, all they have is Twinings.) IF they were to add in some non-dairy milks, halfway decent tea, and perhaps some healthy muffins or gluten-free/vegan options to their pastry selection, I’d add a star for sure, but as it stands, it remains just a café that *could* be something special.

Non. Non. Il faut se reprendre là.

Beautiful lighting Very clean interior Great, friendly service Anglo-friendly Good study location In Paris, it’s hard to find a café that allows you to park your keister for a few hours without pressuring you to leave, but Strada is great for that! The service was super friendly, and the baristas spoke both English and French fluently. I got a cappuccino, and I wouldn’t say that it was the best cappuccino I have had in Paris(I prefer the one at Cafeotheque), but it was good. The lighting is beautiful in this café, and the interior is open and welcoming. Great location, great service, easy 4 stars! Next time I want to try their fresh-squeezed juice. They smelled and sounded delicious, and a lot of people were ordering them.

I’m from Portland OR, so I too am a coffee snob. I’ve been looking for sustenance here in Paris for eight days, living off 3rd tier liquid from Starbucks. Thanks to Strada Café, I need wait no longer. Superb cappuccino with some really lovely foam and not the thin crap I get everywhere else here. The dish of the day was also really tasteful. Brioche with beets and chèvre garnished with arugula and a salad with cut fruit and a delicious dressing. The service was lovely — the baristas speak English and I heard about three languages and 3 different english accents here. Interesting place. Atmosphere is a bright hipster flavor, but leaning toward a more cosmopolitan clientele. Bring your friends! Definitely coming back tomorrow.

Disclaimer: I am from Seattle, and I am a coffee snob. For the most part, in my opinion, the only reason to drink Parisian coffee is for the caffeine and the opportunity to spend an hour at an outdoor table at a traditional French café. The espresso varies from passable to horrid, and ordering a cappuccino is simply a waste of money. For good espresso drinks, head to Italy or to Café Strada. Their espresso is top quality, and they make a beautiful cappuccino. It is obvious that they care about the quality of their product. The last time I was there, the weather had just turned quite hot, and the barista apologized in advance that the coffee might be bitter. If I found it so, I was to let him know so that he could remake it. The coffee was delicious, as it turned out, but I appreciated the honesty. For non-coffee drinkers, they offer hot chocolate as well as delicious juices. The atmosphere of Café Strada is as good as their coffee. You will feel equally comfortable arriving with your laptop or with a group of friends. One note: if you are seeking delicious breakfast pastries, you should come to Café Strada another day. They serve lovely tartines with jam and have some nice brunch and lunch options, but for croissants you will be happier stopping at a neighboring bakery.

Randomly chanced upon this neat café and went in. Wasn’t disappointed as it was really a serious coffee place with different blends, filter, etc. got the cappuccino upon recommendation with the Strada blend and was pretty decent(sorry we have been spoilt by best coffees of Australian cafes so standards are high and hard to beat). Also had a walnut loaf with chocolate. Was pretty good and very generous hunk was given for € 4. They also serve fresh juice for non coffee drinkers and water is self service at the counter. best cappuccino in paris/possibly world. not an exaggeration. we also had brunch. i had the croque mister(a traditional cm + poached egg and prosciutto) and my friend had the salad of the day. both simply, elegantly prepared with super fresh ingredients. lovely ambiance, delightful staff. i wish i had found this little gem sooner. i will be back.
