I went on a Succulent Paris tour in early April and had a wonderful time. I would not have ventured to the markets, chocolate shop, honey shop, or oil shop had it not been for this lovely tour. During the market tour we learned about the harvesting of fresh vegetables and fruits, fresh seafood and meats, and how the French eat and prepare their food. We visited several local shops and met merchants who make chocolates and macarons. We learned about honey and olive oil and had samples of both. To round out the day, we enjoyed fresh mushroom soup, crackers, wine, and a cheese plate at a gorgeous French apartment while conversing with the rest of the group. Lovely, enjoyable tour, well worth the time and money.
