Tandoori Nights

Réservation par lafourchette: accueil un peu bizarre car ils né comprennent pas trop ce que l’on dit.
Les plats sont tout petit a croire qu’ils mettent des portions plus petites pour lafourchette.

Had dinner here tonight with my boyfriend and family and really enjoyed the food here. I’ve found a few Indian places in Paris are «westernised» but not this place! It was very authentic and delicious and the owner was very welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door! The portions are rather small but it’s exactly what I’d expect from a more upmarket restaurant. The price is also reasonable. Would happily recommend friends here if they ever visit Paris (notably I’m not from Paris but come from a country that has an abundance of delicious authentic food).

We had dinner at Tandoori our last night in Paris. It’s not just a hole-​in-​the-​wall, it’s located in the midst of a lot of construction. Not the best ambience if you’re dining outdoors, which we were.
There are a lot of Indian restaurants where I live and it’s my family’s favorite cuisine, especially as there tend to be many vegetarian options. I can’t compare Tandoori to other Indian restaurants in Paris, as it was the only one I visited, but it made us all yearn for our favorite Indian restaurants at home.
The menu had few vegetarian dishes, so we tried most of them. Service was perfunctory, although other tables were occupied by regulars, who got much better treatment than we did. Understandable, just not very friendly. The mint sauce was iridescent green, motivating me to wonder about their use of ingredients.
A few minutes after we got our food, the people at the next table started smoking. And smoking. All right, it’s Paris; what can you do? we paid the bill and left as quickly as we could.

I’ve been to Tandoori Nights a few times — I keep coming back every time I’m in Paris. This restaurant may look like a tiny hole-​in-​the-​wall from the outside. But inside, they serve delicious, authentic Indian food. The service is excellent, and their staff are knowledgeable and able to make recommendations. A must-​try is the cheese naan — it is stuffed with spreadable Laughing Cow and absolutely delicious!

Très bon, prix peut être un peu élevé (plat à 14EUR, sans compter les accompagnements). Service rapide et agréable.

Réservation au téléphone assez froid, mais l’accueil fut sympathique.
Le restaurant est situé dans une rue pas très fréquentée. Il y a une terrasse pour manger dehors, mais ce fut une agréable surprise en rentrant à l’intérieur, c’est vachement bien décoré!
Nous étions venu là par un bon Groupon, les entrées étaient très bons et les plats classiques, tout ça servi assez rapidement (le cheese nan est excellent ici !)
La salle était bruyante pendant le repas (les habitués du quartier?), mais nous y avons passés un agréable moment.

Entrées froides, plats corrects mais sans plus.
Pas très accueillant (est-​ce parce qu’on venait avec un bon groupon ?)
Pas conciliant pour 2 sous. Assez déçu.

Un bout de chaleur, une ambiance amicale le tout avec un bon repas.
Un vrai moment de gourmandise.

Restaurant indien qui né paye pas de mine vu de l’extérieur et dans une rue assez peu passante.
Mais lorsque l’on rentre, le cadre est très agréable, le patron très sympathique et le service excellent.
Les plats et sauces sont excellents. Et le tout pour des prix très abordables. Menu à 11EUR le midi et 19EUR le soir (entrée, plat, dessert).
Un resto à découvrir!

Une découverte !
Au milieu d’une rue très calme mais à deux pas de la rue du Commerce: je né sais pourquoi mes pas m’ont conduit ce jour là rue Letellier mais j’appelle ça un bel hasard de la vie. Le Tandoori Nights est un petit joyau, décoré avec simplicité et goût, un de ces endroits chaleureux où on se sent tout de suite bien. Et bien sûr, la cuisine… une cuisine subtile, pleine de saveurs, relevée juste «comme il faut». Bref, je retrouve goût pour la gastronomie indienne que j’avais délaissée depuis quelque temps, faute de trouver un restaurant à mon goût sur Paris et après avoir été maintes fois déçue. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, que vous soyez un habitué de la cuisine indienne ou un néophyte en la matière. Pour résumer en un seul mot: excellent !
