I was staying at a hotel nearby and every morning I would google search to see where I should get breakfast before we head to the main attractions in the city. This boulangerie is close to the Baucicaut Metro station, and Google also said they won the best baguette in Paris for 2009. So it was a must try. The shop is very clean, and the minute you walk in you can smell the fresh baguettes and various breads they make on premise. There’s so much variety to choose from. I read somewhere also that they deliver their fresh baquettes daily to a shop on Champs Elysees. They probably have the best croissants in all of Paris(IMO) — soft and flakey, not too buttery. They also make some very delicious fruit tarts and quiches. We bought a breakfast quiche there and they actually offered to heat it up for us in the back. Boy am I glad they did, because that was also the best quiche I’ve had ever. I wish we would’ve found out about them sooner, because I would’ve been there at least once a day.

Hubby researched where we could find the best baguette while in Paris and he discovered this place had won the award for best baguette in Paris back in 2009. It was our first stop after arriving in Paris at 5pm. I was wary because I thought that the bakeries only made fresh baguettes in the wee hours of the morning, but when we arrived, we received a fresh, warm, crusty baguette for a little over a Euro. Best baguette we’ve ever had! :)
