So late to review this lovely place, but I loved it! I was brought here by some friends who lived nearby and highly recommended it. I ordered a creamy pasta, which I can’t remember the name of, but it was rich and flavorful. My favorite part was the fondue with bread, glorious! Ambience was peaceful, trendy, and simple. The waiter was attentive, but gave us our space. Overall enjoyable experience.

Food was just so-so /okay. atmosphere was fun but the service was the worse. Literally our waiter did not care to help us. We asked for water and condiments for our meal and never received either. Then saw the waiter across the street smoking a cigarette instead.

Had lunch here on a beautiful sunny day. The servers are wonderful and speak English. I had the Plate du Jour which was a medley of seafood with a bernaise sauce. Very delicious. Great spot to people watch. Highly recommend.

Spur of the moment dinner on Rue Cler… we had a hankering for some pizza. All in all, mission accomplished! This is one of the few restaurants we went to in Paris that served cocktails throughout the meal rather than just as an apertif. We had a round of mojitos which were really quite good and then indulged in some starters and mains. We split a rocquette salad(Rocket salad) among the table and had some complimentary bread. I had ordered the Chef pizza which had spicy sausage, sweet peppers and olives on it. Super thin crust and cheesy on every bite. There is a bottle of hot oil you can use on your pizza — proceed with caution! Only bone to pick was that our waiter wasn’t 100% clear on how we wanted the salad to come out first and that the pizzas and one pasta dish that was ordered should come out all together. One of our friends got his pizza before mine had come out and we had to ask another waiter to follow-up on the order. Our original guy apologized for the misunderstanding and everything went fine from there. Overall, cute little Brooklyn inspired joint with great pizzas!

If you’re looking for something quick, easy, and casual with a moderate to low priced menu with a wait staff who is friendly and speaks perfect English, this is your place. The location is great, it is always crowded, and the people watching is entertaining. However, if you are looking for a gourmet meal I would stay away. I’ve been here many times out of sheer convinience and sometimes the food is noticeably better than others. The pasta is always good, the pizza is sub-par, and one unfortunate time my friend found a shard of plastic or glass(not sure which didn’t thoroughly investigate to be honest), in her bowl of pasta. If you are looking for cheap, easy, average; this is your place.

Worst service I’ve ever had in my entire life! Seriously, it was that bad. We waited 15 minutes for our server to even acknowledge that we were sitting there and then finally got to order. We ordered two glasses of wine, the pasta with truffle sauce and the lemon piccata chicken. Our wine took another 10 minutes to finally reach our table, and although every table around us received bread before their meal we did not. Our sever was too busy flirting with the girl at the table next to us to give us bread I guess… Anyways, our food arrived within the next 15 minutes and it was terrible. The pasta with truffle sauce was cold and tasted like it came frozen and they just heated it up in the back. The chicken was dry and definitely not worth the price. After eating only half of our meals we decided enough is enough and asked for the check. It took us 15 minutes to get our servers attention and when we finally did he pointed his finger at us and said«one moment!» Finally, he provides us with the check and before we can say anything he says«merci» and runs off. We were paying with card, which I was visibly holding up when he dropped off the check but he still refused to acknowledge that and walked away. So there we were still sitting at the table with the check and card in our hand just to watch our server give the girl next to us free wine and ask her to take a selfie. seriously? Finally another employee saw our frustration and quickly ran our card. Our server was beyond rude, and I wouldn’t advise anyone to eat here. Service and food are both terrible! Worst 40 euros I’ve ever spent!!!

I would recommend staying away from this place if your in Rue Cler. It is tourist trap for those looking to dine in Rue Cler and people watch. Don’t be fooled by its location as the food is sub-par and the service is absolutely horrendous. I recently dined there this evening and the server took 10 minutes just to acknowledge us and was inattentive throughout the entire meal. We felt like leaving when we first sat down due to the lack of service and wish we followed our gut instinct. Stay away from this place and go eat at petit rue Cler or another establishment instead.

I love it

We found this place on our first trip to Paris back in 2004 and we ventured back to this spot in 2006, 2012, and our last and final time in April of 2015. The first time was one of our favorite spots to eat; extremely good Italian. I remember the Lobster Ravioli was one of the best I’ve ever had. Interesting to see a restaurant go through so many changes –in the wrong direction. Each time we visited it became less formal and sloppy and the menu has changed dramatically. Food quality just wasn’t there and the service was chaotic.

Really delicious dinner on Rue Cler We stumbled upon this place on the bustling Rue Cler, and it ended up being one our best dinners in Paris. The décor is very clean and modern, and their menu offers great pasta and pizza dishes. We had their rigatoni in alfredo sauce and pizza with sausage and olives. The alfredo sauce on the pasta was seriously the best alfredo sauce that I have ever had, anywhere. It was rich and creamy, yet light and not oily and greasy. The chicken in it was cooked to perfection, and soft and delicious. I’ve been to italy before and this still tops some of their pasta dishes too The pizza was extra cheesy and the sausage had great flavor. The olives were tossed whole on top, which was kind of weird that they weren’t sliced, but still tasty. We also had their tiramisu, but that wasn’t as great as the meal was, and we had better tiramisu at other places in the city. Service was english-friendly, and their patio area was super popular as the night went on. Prices were decent too. Hubby wanted to come eat the pasta again the next day!

I came here because it was in vicinity to my hotel while I was on holiday in Paris during the Christmas season. To be fair, I didn’t eat much, aside from a piece of a large pizza and some steamed vegetable platter, but I thought their rose wine was perfect and the service was divine. The server was incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. It was also packed with foreigners, so it indicates a good environment for us. I would recommend for a good drink and food, with an open atmosphere that encourages a great time. Will visit again when I return!

This restaurant was praised by Rick Steves, but my son and I were very disappointed. We arrived around 18:15 and were immediately seated. My son’s pasta with Serrano ham and veggies, he said, was okay, but my veal scallopini was dry as a bone and had no flavor whatsoever. Worse, we were served our meal within five minutes of being seated, so obviously my dish had been microwaved. Besides that, the piece I was served was size XXXL; I don’t think veal is supposed to be that big. One other point: like most Parisian restaurants, you enter through an outdoor seating zone, which is set aside for smokers. Unfortunately, the smoke made its way into the dining room, making the whole place reek. The server seemed embarrassed to have served us such poor fare. With two small glasses of passable wine, the bill totaled € 41. A terrible waste.

I came to this establishment due to it being close to my Hotel during my Honeymoon. The positives about this establishment are: they speak English, the food is not terribly expensive for a weary traveler, and they are open pretty late. The cons are: the food isn’t Edgar i would consider great quality, the mix drinks are very weak, and the waiter did ask for a certain tip amount(I thought that was odd). All in all i would defiantly go back to this establishment and bring friends.

Nice lively ambiance for brunch and coffee, but the food could have been better. Come on a Sunday to experience the lively sunday market on this street. Plenty of restaurants around here to choose from and shops to visit. Price/Quality: 3 stars The portions are huge but unfortunately not the best tasting. The tuna salad lacked taste as if no dressing was used at all. Service: 4 stars Good for a busy restaurant. Ambiance: 5 stars Located on one of the most French roads on Paris. It’s a spot frequented by Parisians. Even if you don’t pick this restaurant, there are sure to be other options nearby.

My husband and I went here as soon as we landed in Paris. We were hungry and strolled to rue cler from our hotel 2 minutes away… And I’m so glad we did. The food was really good. I had the chicken and he had the fish. The portion sizes were large too!(In Canada our portion sizes are smaller) so we were very satisfied since the last thing we ate was airplane food. The servers were so sweet and polite and really helped us out, even with our broken French. She even practiced with me on how to say«I’d like the bill please» hehe I’m really happy we went here, it was fairly busy but the food and service was quick.

Came back here after 2 years and liked my experience. HUGE improvements from 2012, that’s for sure! They have an all-new staff, all of whom are courteous and kind. My friend and I ordered the 4 saisons pizza and it was so good, we cleaned our plates. Happy that Tribeca is back in business!(In my mind at least.) I’m looking forward to coming back and trying some of their pastas, their«Tecsas» Burger, and their tuna tartare.

Oh Tribeca, you were my favorite restaurant in Paris. It was so good that my parents and I ended up here many times during our weekend trip. This was my first time in France and Paris. As a self proclaimed foodie and loyal Unilocaler I was looking forward to try some amazing Persian food. Most places were disappointing until we found Tribeca. The food was good. I loved the one past dish with Gorgonzola and Pears, so good and vegitarian which is a rarity in Europe. Another time during lunch I got a club sandwich which was also good. My favorite part like most people have mentioned was the people watching! It is a must when in Paris! Also, the service was pretty good for being in Paris.

Re-pourquoi ? Testez !
