This hotel is nice and clean but the only downside is they are remodeling parts of it during our stay here. The moment you walk inside you smell the paint. We have to leave our windows open to get rid of the smell. Other than that, the room is a good size and not a typical European standard size. The staff are nice. It is stone throw away from the grand boulevard metro.

This hotel has a lot of potential to become a nice hotel. It is located only a few blocks away from the Galleria Lafayette, which is an amazing department store. It is also not in a touristy area, so you get to experience some of the actual French culture if you walk a few blocks out. This hotel is also walking distance to the Louvre Museum. The pub next door is popping every night with a bunch of young adults. There are plenty of good restaurants to eat around the area as well. The good thing about this hotel is the location and that our room was pretty spacious. The king size bed was humongous compared to the bunk beds we got. The bad things about this hotel are that the elevators are super tiny and old-fashioned. We had a 4 person room with 2 bunk beds and a king sized bed. The bunk bed mattresses were as hard as a rock and I could barely sleep at night. We also had a standing lamp, but it went out after the first night. We kept telling the desk that it was broken and they kept saying it would be fixed. They did not fix it the entire stay at the hotel. Another thing was that the bathroom shower doors were not practical. It was literally a swinging glass panel that only reached half the tub and did not guard the water from leaking out. We had puddles of water every time one of my family members showered.

Two stars for the location and cleanliness of our hotel room. We heard great things about this hotel on TripAdvisor and decided to book a family suite since we had four people. The room itself was fairly big, it had a bedroom with a HUGE bed(probably bigger than a king bed) and a little hallway for the bathroom and closet, and then the family room with the bunkbed, sofa and tv. Now, the first day we stayed there we were like wow, what a deal! The metro is right outside the hotel, there’s a TON of restaurant’s to eat at right downstairs — this hotel is the best! Second day we come back, about half of our lights did not work. We were literally sitting in the dark and kept asking the front desk to fix it. Maybe we were stupid and didn’t know how to turn on the lights, but we got it to work the first day. Futhermore, the lights kept flickering on and off, so every time we plugged something in(hair dryer, for example) ALL the lights would just turn off. How annoying. So for a week we were just trying to maneuver in the dark. The bunk beds were as hard as a rock and I was scared that with my brother on the top bunk that it would collapse on me in the middle of the night. The bathroom was very spacious, but my only concern was the shower did not have a curtain or a door. It had a little glass thing that barely covered any of the water from getting out. Taking a shower was definitely a hassle because the floor would get all wet and it would just be a mess… WIFI was provided within the room. It was nice that it worked, but it was very slow. Can’t complain since it was included in the price of the hotel.

Excellent location with the metro literally outside the front door. Lacks the shine and some amenities that you would get from«nicer» hotels but this was my first trip to Paris and was looking for value and not luxury. Perfect place for such a trip. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff who speak excellent English. I also heard them assisting a Spanish speaking couple so obviously they can accommodate pretty much anyone with ease. Elevators are tiny as in most European countries so consider that when you bring massive suit cases. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great hotel in a busy busy busy part of Paris. Tons of food choices around the hotel that you can’t miss. The tv doesn’t give you much more than 2 options for English shows. The room is pretty and comfortable and the view is of the pretty streets of Paris and the buildings. It is noisy since there’s plenty of bars downstairs to keep the entire city awake for days! We didn’t try the hotel breakfast since there was a Starbucks across the street :-) The elevator is SUPERSMALL, one person and one medium suitcase really. Good luck!

Stayed here for business travel and while I love the location(walking distance to shops, food, my office, etc), the hotel is very expensive for what you get. The desk staff is friendly and multilingual but the whole place could have been cleaner and while the rooms were large by paris standards, I’ve stayed at nearby hotels that were equally nice though about 100 $US less per night.
