My neighborhood nail salon. For 35 € you can get a mani — pedi, or 25 € just a pedi, which is way cheaper than other places in France. There’s an acceptable choice of nail colors and the staff is friendly. They also offer massages and waxing. Worth it if you’re in the area and feel like treating yourself. Edited to update: like in many nail salons in Paris, I’m not 100% sure about the hygiene and sterilization here. I mean, I don’t see them soaking the utensils in alcohol — just under what appears to be UV light.(I’m not a nail salon pro but I wonder if that’s super effective or not). I did recently get a cuticle infection on my fingernail after a mani here, BUT I can’t be sure that it’s from lack of sterilization because to be honest, that was probably the 2nd time in my life I had my cuticles trimmed with a clipper instead of being gently pushed back. So I can’t say for sure what the deal was. Anywho! I also wanted to add that they have stepped their game up. They recently closed for 2 weeks or so to do major renovation! They upgraded their equipment and replaced the pedicure chairs, adding a third chair. YESSSS! Less wait time in summer when it’s pedi season! Long story short, I will continue coming here for pedicures. I don’t think there’s really anything to worry about hygiene-wise if you just get pedicures, since the skin on your feet tends to be rather thick and resistant. Just maybe avoid coming with open wounds, but that’s just common sense.
