This unassuming restaurant is tucked away in a residential area of Perpignan, not far from the highway. We wound up here for lunch while taking a small break on a roadtrip down the southern coat of France! The owners are very nice and were happy to make us one of their specialty dishes, as well as an off-menu sandwich. When the food arrived they even gave us a complimentary glass of wine, since it was a slow Sunday afternoon :) The food was very tasty. I’m not entirely sure what the name of my plate was, but it had a spiced ground meat patty(delicious!), simple salad of olives, tomato, and lettuce, and«Persian rice,» as it was described to me. All of it was good, though it’s not the sort of thing that would win any awards. The appeal of this place is the friendly owners, good prices, and quality food. There’s a McDonald’s up the street, but if you’re visiting the city this is a much better option!
