Great food, wonderful service. This Michelin starred restaurant in the small village of Le Petit-​Pressigny dispenses with the pretensions you find in some Michelin starred restaurants in larger towns. This is about the food and the service, not the snobbery value. Very relaxed, but very attentive service. Food was top notch. So in the end it represents very good value.
We had a great time, our kids had a great time. The restaurant even gave my 8 year old daughter a menu as a souvenir.

La Promenade is the last thing you would expect in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere: a smallish restaurant offering michelin-​starred French cuisine. The set menus offer a less expensive way to enjoy the food here, but it’s still excellent quality. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the sommelier more than glad to help with choosing a wine. The desserts are particularly spectacular.
It might be a bit out of the way, but if you find yourself touring the chateaux of the Loire, a detour through the farms and fields to dine here is well worth it.
